The car if budgets nor family practicalities mattered

I'd have to test drive a few.
Would quite like to own a modern hot hatch.
Either the Fiesta ST or A45 AMG.
Maybe the GT86 although it would be nice if it had a turbo version.
The S3 Saloon would be quite nice.0 -

Quite restrained with a 125k budget!
Isn't the gt86 turbo'd by some company by now? Sure I was reading up on it a while back.0 -

I'd have a Tesla Model S.
There are loads of supercars and luxobarges around, but with the road tax, insurance, petrol and so on, even if you got the car for free, they would still end up as a huge liability. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
BMW i8, looks amazing, goes amazing, mpg amazing.
Quite like its little brother, the i3, if a decent leasing deal appears in the next 12 months I'll be snapping one up.0 -
Ferrari 456 GT Venice. Because I love fast estates and this is the ultimate one.
Or maybe a BMW 760iL0 -

There is an aftermarket turbo although I've heard mixed reviews, supposedly doesn't kick in until higher revs. A modest turbo that flattened the torque curve and delivered a small hp increase and was warranted by the manufacturer would be nice.
I like the looks of the GT86 and supposedly it is well balanced and great to drive, but 0-60 is 7.6 seconds and if the Toyota site is right max torque @6500rpm and max power at 7000rpm... so a rather small power band and at high revs.
Toyotas answer seems to be special editions with chav spoilers and oversized wheels (something I dislike about modern cars, would much rather have 14 inch steel wheels).0 -

It would be for me, not the family so it would only need 1 seat.
I'd go bike and go with Mr Cruise and Mr Leno.
