    400bhp to 110bhp (when not in limp mode), was ok.
    As long as you've some torque, like any turbocharged diesel, you can nip round for a single car overtake at all legal speeds.
    Is all you need, maybe not all you want though.
    Brother has an E46 estate and 2 big dogs, not the biggest boot but be more than enough for 1 dog.

    No sarcasm intended but I wouldn't classify a 1 series diesel as 'higher' powered. What one was it? If it was the123d or even 120d then fair enough, they are fast.

    I think they mean going from a car with X amount of power to one that has Y amount of power and which is lower than X, as opposed to have you gone from a supercar to a shopping cart :)
