I have sold somethings on eBay and have added it to my debt, so payoff now stands at £2538.77/£2800.

Im starting to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Im currently moving house so am planning on doing a carboot at some point, all money from that will go towards debt, as well as savings come payday. Hopefully by the end of the month i will be debt free!

Debt currently stands at £2030/£3020 which is 67.2% (more than 2/3 of the way through!) I was initially focusing on increasing savings and basically paying a little over the minimum of the CC each month to improve financial security. Now we have a good lump in the bank the plan is to do half savings half CC meaning we will have the CC paid by end of August! I will be so pleased when that's done. :o

  • Hiya all, well cleared more than usual this month but not as much as I had hoped, have now cleared, £4231.38/£7000. This equates to 60.4%. Won't be as much next month but will be at least £300. Take care all and keep going.

After getting my deposit back from my old flat I have put this all into my debt fund and I'm now officially DEBT FREE :D

It is payday tomorrow so finally all of the money i have is mine, so I'm putting all savings into my emergency fund to get it back to £1000 as quickly as possible, then its long term savings time.

Well done on your progress so far everyone!

  • Congratulations Sophieo16, so pleased for you and I literally cannot wait to be in your position. I managed another £336.48 off the total debt last month and think September will be similar, am due a large payment from a ppi but am not counting on it, if I get anything it will be a bonus. So I have paid £4567.85 off my £7000 target which equates to 65.25% which isn't bad going! Might not make my total for Christmas but will have made good progress to set me up for next year.
    Good luck to all

  • Hiya all
Well I am now £4985.76/£7000 =71.23%. Am super happy with that, mind you got that again for the next 4 years, but am super chuffed. Realistically don't think I will hit the £7000 mark but would be pleased with £6000 gone for good.
Good luck to all, and will check in again soon
