I think it's scary and fantastic to be almost half way through the year. I'm by no means wishing life away as we're making the most of (almost
) every day and each day is a day closer to becoming debt free. I can almost taste it haha!
Another £200 sent this morning along with a few payments during the month taking the new total for this CC to £6224.

Finished June with another £333.24 paid off my total debt, and another chunk off my £7000 aim for this year, will have a good payment this month and think this will motivate me to really crack on. Take care all.Jan 2025 £26561.43/£0. I want to clear £9000 this year (2025)0

Another £70 paid off since last posted leaving £1390 to go. I've made a new money plan this month which will prioritise paying off debt over savings which should see the CC paid off before the end of August. Which will be very exciting.
I hope everyone's doing well and the sunshine and beer gardens are distracting us all (too much)!

Hiya all
Forgot to post at the end of June, so will post my update today as if it was the end of June. I have now cleared £2413.89 or 34.5% of my target of £7000. Since this I have had a little bonus from work so next months payment will look better and will hopefully punch me over the half way mark, don't think to be honest that I will reach my goal this year but I will definately give it a good go, and anything will be better than nothing. Not sure why but I seem to have a lot less disposable income to throw at my debts than I did last year, not sure why will have to go and have a real good look at things.
Take care all

The fact that we're all doing it is admirable so don't worry if you don't clear it this year, the amount you have shifted will be a goal in itself
well done and keep going.

my debt payback total now stands at £2430.95/ £2800.
I plan to have this fully paid off next payday and then put all of my effort into getting my £1000 emergency fund back up to the total so I'm more secure going forward.
Well done everyone with your debt busting!Mortgage Feb 2023- £249,210 MFW 2023 #20: £524.05/£500 (104.81%)0
