  • Thanks lots - DH's Excalibur is bookable on line but typically the one we've got a query on the workings of we have to ring up about - so I will do

I am pretty sure that the 72 hours thing is just that and you could book another room for a stay 72 hours later...that's the way it has worked with TR in the past - I know they are different programmes but probably similar terms in this respect.

So your understanding is that we couldn't use another comp after 72 hours, we could just another stay? That's fair enough :) We're still going to end up paying a lot less than we expected to be!

Ooh what was your husband's offer? Hope it's not a mistake! My DH's Excalibur offer is the best either of us have ever had but mine aren't as good as normal - I usually get the better offers.

I'm still really pleased with MLife though -we haven't been since 2013 so I had assumed our offers would have dried up by now

My understanding is there have to be 72 hours between but you could then book another comp offer...sorry, that's what I meant but didn't word it very well. My understanding is you can use the spring offer multiple times but need a 72 hour gap between bookings.

Hubby normally can get 2 nights Mirage, MC or Luxor...his spring offer is 2-3 nights at any property (including Bellagio/Delano/Aria (2 nights each), and 3 nights in a suite at MC/Luxor/NYNY/Excalibur etc)...plus a fair whack of freeplay and resort credit...neither of which he has ever had offered before.

Bit jealous of all those offers, ferf all I can say is get it booked quick! That's great. I thought I was doing well getting 3 nights at Luxor with MyVegas :)

Also in a bit of a dilemma. We each have around 100,000 myvegas points now. I have used 2 offers for May, DH has used 1 offer for May. I was going to redeem for Mandalay Bay buffet (2 dinners) and it would eat up most of my points and he could redeem for 2 other things. We'll get a LVA, but we're having 2 nights down at Westin Lake Las Vegas and will spend time in Henderson so might to GVR buffet a couple of time so could redeem for that too. So, I could work it out to use all the LP's but I'm thinking I should keep some for September! Our dates in May are tricky due to Rock In Rio being on, but September rates should be a bit better. That might mean we could get some more MyVegas nights, so maybe I should be keeping more points (or even just trying to earn more :rotfl:)

Ooh brilliant! So our 'Plan A' might actually work then :T

That is a very nice offer for your hubby. Hoping we might get even better stuff than we've been offered this time after this trip (although I'm pretty pleased with what we've got) Any money we save on the hotel will be used to feed the slots! When we last went we only budgeted $50 a day for slots - I think my total play through was $2000ish. I'm hoping to get from Sapphire to Pearl next trip

hubby realised he could book online and so we have now swapped 2-nights at MC from an old offer to 3 nights in a Monaco suite...we figure that even if the freeplay doesn't materialise when we're there we haven't lost anything and have gained a better room and an extra night.

If it were a different trip we probably would have tried Delano or Aria but stuck with MC due to the location and the lazy river...for this trip, with my in-laws, it makes more sense for what we have planned. I know the MB pool is meant to be very nice but MC is just better placed for our other plans and hotels.

It will be very interesting to see what summer/fall offers come out...we were just talking last week about how we should plan a trip that doesn't involve CET property for the first 5 nights as we normally do...we had talked about considering an MGM property even if it meant paying for a couple of nights and if they include a freeplay offer for the fall then that makes that idea that much more appealing.

Can confirm you do need 72 hours between comps, rang mlife last night, so we ended up redeeming two nights with myvegas at NYNY, one on mine and one on TH account. Our Mlife accounts are linked and he doesn't seem to get any offers on his account

I must have missed this 72hr thingy.....
I have 2 comp nights on Fri & Sat night at Luxor, then 2 nights comp'd at the MC on the Tues & Weds night...
Booked already and got the confirmation numbers....
    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ???
  • I don't think all offers have the 72 hour clause - our Spring ones do but my birthday offer (which expires in a couple of days) doesn't mention it

Nope, still nothing for me or OH with !!!!!! or TR. Surely we should have something, you don't amass $330 in express comps with !!!!!! and get no offers, ever, do you?
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Hi folks, I've been invited to vegas for a stag do, all the rest of the guys have already booked and are staying at the Bellagio in twin rooms but as I am an odd number I'll need a room to myself at the moment, preferably a twin so that if someone else decides to come we can split the room. Where is the best place to book this? I currently can get it for approx £150 per night for 4 nights. Is this reasonable? It's Thursday until Monday in June.
