I do recall a couple of nightclub discussions towards the end of the 2014 thread so might be worth a look at the last 5-10 pages.
  • Me and my girlfriend are planning to travel out to Vegas in August I know its difficult to say as prices are always fluctuating but what is a realistic price for fights? Indirect is currently coming in at around £800 are we likely to see the price drop in the coming months?

If I was going in August I would have booked the flights by now - you have just missed the BA and Virgin flight sale.
Personally I cannot see prices dropping for August - you may get reduced lower prices for November/December or early next year.

Oil prices have dropped as we all know - but the £ is weaker against the $ too so US flights may not come down much at all.

We have been before in August, and it is possible to get a good deal at that time. The weather is constantly over 100 degrees,so a lot don't like to go then.It was a few years ago...maybe about four or five...but we had a package from expedia, indirect flight and hotel for less than the £800 you quote.
I would just keep checking flight prices on sites like skyscanner, and hotel and flight packages for you required dates on expedia...as I say,it's very hot then so it is possible to get a reasonable price.

Just had a look at some old vegas booking emails, and we went with united airlines in 2012 on one trip.Dates were 19-31 August..the price was £597 each for flights.Fairly sure we have had another trip in August doing the e-package through expedia, and again don't think pricing was that bad.
I would certainly hope to get it cheaper than £800 each.
  • finally got my spring offer through, so can now look to book my hotel for may. 2 nights deluxe room $75 freeplay and $75 room tax rebate. not bad considering i only stayed there once.

Now just need to contact them to upgrade the room into the suite and get the rebate cost taken off the room bill.

With MGM i am pearl after last visit and will be gold after this one in may, and then next year i guess will be the difficult one getting to the next level, suppose that will be 2 or 3 trips that year.

Can you guys list what offers u got with MLIFE and if your Sapphire/Pearl, etc
    Am curious ! :)

For my account/Sapphire (and I spent a lot, but tax info shows I won a lot too with mlife), I had:
2 Nights Tower room in LUXOR, Fri & Sat night in June (this year)
2 Nights @ Monte Carlo, Sun-Thurs deal only (booked for June)

I have gamble activity in all MGM hotels, and stayed at MC last year for 5 nights + 5 nights in Luxor year before (although that was fully comp'd cos I embarrassed a member of staff months before we stayed there! ;-) )
