    hi
I was a flip of a coin away from booking up that! having had the week off and well i had the flight money and the money for a hotel. but it was the spening money that stoped me booking up.

but saving up for our trip in june so vegas once a year isn't bad !

has anyone flown from Washington or Boston, direct to LV?

    considering doing a 2-stop trip:
    London > Was/Bos (3-4 nights)
    Was/Bos > LAS (5-6 nights)
    LAS > London

I did Washington DC last year, we couldn't go direct to LAS on days we wanted so flew via SFO, but was fine.
Lots to do in DC, thoroughly enjoyed it - we spent 7 days there (including a day at the air museum at Dullies Airport)

    hi

Im unsure if this will help you but my brother and i did edinburgh. new york(3 nights) and then onto vegas(direct ) for 10 nights.I know its not washinton or boston but on the east coast at least,Ifi recall it was around a 5hour flight.WE found it great for us(as we flew from our local airport) and loved new york.Just re read your post and see it was only a one stop trip instead of the two stop trip, though maybe this may be of some help to you?

Not sure what the question is but

    Southwest fly Washington-Vegas direct

    Jetblue fly Boston-Vegas direct.

You can easily spend 3-4 nights in either city.

BOS-WAS by bus is $43 as a quick search-may be cheaper

    :D;)

have been to both destinations before, and we're considering doing one of them for a 2-stop trip on the way to LV.

thanks for the heads-up on the direct carriers. I think we'd want to go direct, the fewer planes involved the better!

Apologies if all this is obvious:

For Washington DC internal flights, check Ronald Reagan/National Airport (DCA, and much closer to downtown) as well as Dulles (IAD).

Between Boston and Washington DC you could fly, or use the train (Amtrak Northeast Corridor/Acela) or drive. For a more pleasant (but longer) drive, I'd suggesting avoiding I-95 (congested, relatively uninteresting) and taking a route well clear of New York City.

  • A quick question.

Been playing the myvegas game and have got up to 20,000 points which isn't a lot but will get me a couple of 2 for 1 vouchers for buffets.

The question is why are the buffets for the same place so different in amounts. For example, a 2-4-1 lunch buffet at the Luxor is only 4000 whilst a free lunch buffet at the same hotel is 10000 and it appears that you have to be staying at the Luxor for the latter option. Surely its the same thing!?

Just seems like it should be the other way around. Don't want to lose my points by not getting the correct voucher....
