last time I stayed at MGM Signature I had my room bill comped (about $250) and my daughter had her room charges and 2 show tickets comped so about $400.

We just went to the !!!!!! desk and asked befoe we checked out.
They even gave me a $50 credit for breakfast.

$15 -- Vegas Fares to 8 Cities (One Way); Ends Wednesday
    By Kim Liang Tan
LAS VEGAS--AUGUST 25, 2015-- Frontier Airlines just slashed fares to eight U.S. cities from Las Vegas to $15 one way, including taxes.
Fares are available for select Tuesday and Wednesday departures September-October to the following cities:
    · Chicago
    · Denver
    · Orlando
    · Austin
    · Washington, D.C.
    · Atlanta
    · Cincinnati
    · St. Louis
Inventory is limited. So while the sale ends tomorrow, we expect fares to sell out quickly.
How to book: On Frontier's website, select Las Vegas from the drop-down menu to see sale fares. Fares initially will be displayed as $20 one way. Add promo code SAVEBIG to get the $15 one-way price.
Note: Due to the sale's popularity, Frontier's site is experiencing heavy traffic and running slowly.

I guess it's always signing up, there may be some new members bonus or something.
Don't get excited though, we have been going to Vegas since the 90's, probably more than 40 trips, and have never once had any offers.
But then I hear of people that go once and get all sorts of comped stays and stuff.

    hi

have you joined the Mlife (and got the card?)
cos if so you can look online at the Mlife website, put in your mlife card number and an email and you *may* get offers that way.If not then you can check and join on the Mlife website
When we went to vegas for our first trip in july 2014 we signed up for the mlife card .Someone mentioned there was the Mlife website and we checked and put the mlife card number and email in and there were things like special rates. We booked our holiday for this year last august and well sods law we checked the mlife website in around april and well we had 3 comped rooms for the mgm grand!

hope this helps some, i think the offers from the Mlife website are a bit hit n miss, but worth a go?

I had the !!!!!! card long before it was called that. It use to be the MGM/Mirage card.
It's just a long running whinge I have on here. I have never been offered a comped room, never, not with any loyalty scheme in Vegas. We've been going 3-4 times a year for 20 years.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

do you drop enough money and use the card when you gamble, drink, eat etc.?
I'm very surprised you have not had anything offered if you stay 4 times a year.

the !!!!!! does work in weird ways!
This year we did Mirage, Lux and Monte C...
When I log onto my Mlife now, it gives me 5 nights comp in MC, 2 nights comp in Lux and 3 nights comp in Mirage.... Probably get 0 nights next year when I need them ! :D

As I've read over the years, the comp offers work in weird ways, same as the Wynn offers!

On a side note, has any of u driven from SF to Vegas ? Looks a bit of a trek, but I like driving (unlike the wife!), just looking at multi options to mix things up for next year..

Yes, and it's a fabulous trip during the months when the Tioga Pass is open (CA120 between Yosemite Valley and US395). If possible give Yosemite at least one entire day (two nights staying in the park or in a town within reach of it, such as Oakhurst, Mariposa or Merced), then one night in one of the US395 towns (Mammoth Lakes or Bishop or Lone Pine). Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

If the Tioga Pass is closed (usually December to May or June) you can go via Lake Tahoe (scenic, but much longer) or via Bakersfield (far less scenic).

Or there's the totally different route down the very scenic Pacific Coast Highway (CA1) to San Luis Obispo and head inland to Las Vegas from there (there's no need to go via Los Angeles unless you want to). Ideally have a night in the Monterey area (or another town such as Gilroy which is less expensive) and one night in San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Pismo Beach or the expensive "chic/boutique" option of Cambria.

    wow
as baza52 has said above, i am unsure what else to say. do you stay in the same hotel/ or different mgm properties?
If you go 3-4 times a year and maybe have a birthday/anniversay, prehaps mention that at reception , prehaps that *may* get you something?
As stuie has said sometimes its a hit n miss
If you do gamble a bit, i have read that if you ask nicely for a comp, thinking mostly buffets here you may get them.
    best of luck

We did, albeit with a 2 night stop in Santa Barbara and a 2 night stop in West Hollywood before continuing to Vegas.

We used the 101 as far as Morro Bay where we stopped for lunch and then joined Highway 1 towards Santa Barbara (stopping again to grab a coffee at Pismo Beach). The alternative of course is the scenic Highway 1 all the way down stopping at somewhere like Monterey or Carmel. The only problem with this is that it's a single lane carriageway and no good if you want to get somewhere in good time. The 101 is boring but quick! We compromised with the way we did it but it matched our itinerary and we still had some amazing views! Highway 1 between Santa Barbara and Malibu is particularly nice imo.

Not sure I'd fancy that drive without a stopover somewhere. Santa Barbara was particularly nice- great restaurants, wine tasting and loads of decent shops. We used an Airbnb place.

We really wanted to like San Francisco but with the exception of Alcatraz and Sausilito we really didn't rate it. They have a major problem with homeless people, more so than any major city I've visited. Their weather is also not as good as the rest of California. We don't regret the 4 days we did but were both in agreement that we wouldn't go back. Next time we'll try San Diego instead.
