hi
and thank you for your response.May i ask what sorta card you used and if you know what,if any fees were attached?
Did you know the exchange rate when booking,.i guess in theory when i have looked at the mgm its been in $, so was there someway you could know how many £s you were paying before buying it?
did you pay the resort fees when you booked, ?or at reception when chekcing in?
I guess at the moment i am looking at different options,
thank you for your feedback
I have a halifax clarity card so no fees and the exchange rate was pretty much what you'd expect for that day (so use oanda.com to check it)
Resort fees were paid separately but I offered the chap at check in $20 and got resort fees comped and moved from a Vdara suite to a corner suite which was better views, though about the same size. No resort fees was the bigger bonus!0 -

Ok thanks for the advice
I am toying with ideas at the moment and it seems booking direct with the mg grand is a good idea,
thanks again for the feedback0 -

ok thanx for that.It seems best to apply for a halifax card which has been mentioned above,Though converting the $'s to £s seems a bit dounting.Though it seems i can book it and cancel it without any peneties if i find something much much cheaper.0 -

I've been flat out playing Blackjack on myvegas. Another couple of days and I'll be able to book a 2night comp stay in Luxor.
Are these rewards easy to redeem? I'm going at the end of August.0 -

There are no 2 night comp rewards. only the 1 night.
You can only use the comp room once per batch unless 2 of you are going.
You also need to check the dates you want are available.0 -
Awww flip sake. I wanted to book 2 consecutive nights.
Thanks for the info.0 -
A couple of questions for our first trip next week that I can't find answers to, if you can help please?
Is it permissible to have 2 people sitting on one slot machine in the main strip hotels? My partner has mentioned pooling our gambling money rather than having a budget each (something about me being luckier than her!), just wondering if it's strictly one person per machine?
Also wondering if the hotels provide free water at pool areas or if we are going to be sucked into buying expensive bottled water? We don't want to drink alcohol during the day and understand they search bags before you go in. We are staying at Aria.0
