    Trip Report:
Budget: No Budget, just to get cheaper than previous trips!
Plan: Return flight to LA, drive to Vegas/LA..
Cost: £488 Flights with AA + 5 nights Resort fee + Upgrades
    Nights: 11
    5 Nts myVegas + 6 Comp

    31st May:
Flew with AA to LAX, Lets just say, this flight super sucks! IFE is great, but if you didn't eat before u got on the plane, your in trouble! at 11 hours, they served this nasty pasta pot 1hr after take- off, and served a tomato & pesto wrap 1hr before we landed! Lucky we had food in Heathrow, and sweets in our bags!!

Landed, got shuttle to Alamo, had pre-paid via Netflights for a standard SUV with fuel for 1 day/1 way hire for £45.
Had no intention of picking an std car, so had a word with the guy in the Lot, slipped him $20, and he checked us into a GMC Arcadia - 7 seater SUV. I was trying for the Yukon or Surb, but he said those cars have to be authorised via front desk....
They asked to see a credit card, so gave them my FairFX Pre-paid card to which they AUTH'd a $1 charge too (which I knew they would).

    car1_zps171zqkde.jpg
Its now 5pm leaving Alamo (1am to us), so I figured we would be in Vegas by 9:30pm... Just as we hit the i15 , it went super bad! Traffic, and I mean bad traffic! Took us nearly 2hours to move a few miles! :(:(
Once moving, and with a blast of coffee, I hit the pedal, keeping up with other drivers speedwise to get us to Vegas asap...
I remember getting the wife to drive for 40 mins so I could take a power nap as we were both struggling, stopped in the middle of nowhere at 9pm, got out the car in the pitch black and it was like walking into an oven!!! About 93 degrees outside!! :D

Anyway, got to the Mirage front desk for 10:50pm, had 3 nights MyVegas in my name, 2 in hers... She had to re-do the bookings as it wasn't done right or something... Showed the $20, but knew it wouldn't work in the Mirage anyway... Got us a Queen room overlooking the pool, in all fairness, the room was nice and big, and just generally nice!! :D Didn't unpack, just went straight to sleep!

    June 1st:
Figured we would be awake at 7am, but noooooooooo, we woke up at 10am!!!! Guess we needed it! Unpacked swimming stuff,
brushed teeth and went straight downstairs! She needs coffee before going outside, so whilst waiting for her, I had a quick
blast on BlackJack table..... Up $225 whilst waiting 10 minutes for her, figured it was going to be a good day! ;);)

Hit the pool, WOW, WOW and WOW again! This is a great pool, its big, real big, waterfall stuff going on, etc.. Its real nice! :D
My phone is waterproof, so time to test it out underwater me thinks!! ;)
    Mir1_zpsxrbe6jf7.jpg

Took the SUV back to the airport, now we got a 3 day hire with Hertz... Had pre-paid for an Intermed car for £77, and have
Hertz Gold 5* (despite only 1 previous rental ;);) )
Anyway, Gold Choice row = EMPTY!!!
Most of the rows = EMPTY!
Never seen a car hire place so empty before! Hardly any Dream cars, Adren cars, no SUV's! Was like a ghost town!
Had a quick look for the Penske GT Mustang and the Dodge Challengers, but to no avail! :( Had a word with a guy in the Lot, he said he not seen the Penske for a long time! :(:(:(
They had 1 Camero RS (the V6 slow thing), the Camero SS (V8 fast thing), and 3 Corvette's...
Fancied the corvette, so set about doing the upgrade deal, the guy in the garage gold desk was a knob, real !!!!!!!! Lowest
he would do an upgrade was $75 (+ 20% fees/tax on top!) per day.....
Kinda told him he was taking the biscuit!
He wanted minimum $50 a day for the Camero SS !
In the end, he settled on $40 a day for the Camero SS, so went for that again, as it was/is a great car, and handy to have a convertible I guess! Drive in M mode, paddle gears only! ;) 426bhp is just what the Doc ordered! :D
    car2c_zpso725ckih.jpg

Hooters for dinner, great chicken wings, had the 3 dog stuff sauce (hottest), left a red stain round my chops! along with a searing pain in my mouth! ;);)
    Hooters_zpsv1zo4evr.jpg
By 10:30pm, we were feeling tired, and after 2 beers, I felt wrecked! was playing on the tables in Hooters, and I counted my chips as being $80 up, so put down on BlackJack what I thought was my winings of $80....
    I drew 20, dealer drew 21! :(
She then took away $280 :(:( I was out of it, I didn't realise I was up more than I thought, but had bet it all, doh!!!!!!!
Left there even, went back to Mirage, and then started the downward spiral of betting and losing :D Bed by 11:30pm!

    June 2nd:
Pool all day, cook, cook, cook and more cooking! Left the pool around 4pm as my tummy was red! Guess it was a bad move starting the holiday with Factor 4 H Tropic Oil! :D (only took 4, 2 and 0 with me! :D )
Hit the North outlet, deals dont seem as appealing as last year for some reason :(

Went to Famous Daves for dinner, got there just after 9, so nice and quiet... It was $20 Big Rack Tuesday, so i ordered those ribs, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! Was like a dinosaur on my plate! hehe ! ;) If only UK Butchers knew how to chop pig!
    FamousDaves_zps46kivq68.jpg

Was on meat overload after that, so back to Mirage for some gambling, popped across road to Casino Royale for 3card poker too... Went to bed around midnight broke again :(

    June 3rd:
Hit up Fresh Bar & Grill for lunch, great food there (with R.com voucher!), then sunbath again all day :D

On the evening, we had VIP seats to see 'Zombie Burlesque' in the V Theatre ($50 each). Funny show, some proper nice hoochies kept my eyes entertained, as well as the show being real funny! Defo worth going to see!!

    June 4th:
Few hours sunbathing in morning, and then decided to have a drive given the Camero has to be back by 5pm.... So we hit Blue Diamond Rd and followed the route for 'Red Rock'. Had no intention of going into Red Rock, just wanted to drive on the
    road outside it....
It was a hot day, roof down, M gear selected, not many cars on the road ;-) Lets just say, perfect driving conditions!

By the time we got onto normal road agains, back to normal driving with a few blasts from the red lights against some beefy cars...
Do recall going up against a Mustang 5.0, and some badass F150 SVT Raptor truck! Used half tank fuel in 116 miles for the 3 days! ;)
Car returned, went to dollar to pick up my weekly rental (£147 inc fuel for Fullsize car). Was allocated a Toyota Camry, car lot was empty!!! Almost like Vegas lost all there cars, or too many peeps in town! :D
Anyway, $10 into some dudes hand, and we drive out in a Nissan Maxima (prem car) :D
    car3_zpsjndqlbiz.jpg
Ate late that night in the Italian Buci food place in Excalibur, like 11:30pm late! Food was OK, nothing special...
Gambled in Excal, then NYNY, then Mirage, and went to bed Broke at 1am ! :(

    June 5th (Friday):
Check out from Mirage (myvegas nights), they charged us 3 nights Resort Fee under my booking, but waived the 2 nights resort fee in the wifes name, as we complained about there wifi being utter rubbish (too many connections means u struggle to get in-room wifi unless an engineer reboots the Access Points, constantly!)...

MLife desk would'nt do nothing either, despite us charging some drinks to the room @ pool side, despite the 'coin-in' showing a half decent amount, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Not impressed with MGM/Mlife at the mo, but then again, not really paid for the rooms as yet, so cant moan, and i know we got 3 shows to see off these bookings (the shows were not entitled too, but thanks Chyna for the heads up! :D:D )

Head over to Luxor, check-in around 11:30am, this is for 4 nights, 2 comp'd in my name + 1 night comp in hers + $45 for final night...
I show the guy a $20, he's straight onto "no upgrades available, sorry".... Grrrrrrrrrrrr !!!

Bit more chit-chat, he says we have a standard room in the Pyramid, i then say our booking is for Tower Rooms, to which he said as part of the comp, u get the tower room if available, to which i hit back with, its 11:30am, dont talk crap! :D
I then said, forget Tower, i want a pyramid suite, whats the cost, he said $50 per day upgrade.....
I politely said, make it $25 and i'll think about spending 1 cent in the hotel ;-) (not nasty talk, funny/sarcastic)

He went off, talked to some boss, came back and said OK :D
So got a suite with a BRICK WALL for a view! haha !!! doh, not that i cared, as was handy being on the 2nd floor...
    Luxroom2_zpsnfvquwr5.jpg
    Luxroom3_zpsh6ripajp.jpg

Hit the pool area, quite busy, heard a few common council estate accents around the pool, so figured benefits must be paying holiday pay now ?! ;)
Baked for a few hours, then back to the room so she can spend hours getting ready to go out!

I filled that massive tub in the main room, sank into that and watched telly (Major Crimes), was awesome!!!!!!
7pm, We got tickets to see Blue-Man Group (Chyna-s), but soon realised they were the worst tickets u can get! I guess if u had booked room stays via Transient Leisure group and they give u free tickets, u would'nt care anyway.... We didnt care as we didnt pay for rooms or tickets! ;)
Anyway, proper back row, like sitting in the Hallway! Waited for lights to dim, and we moved forward a bit, but still on the Balcony level....
I realised from then, when going to a show on cheap tickets, arrive late!

Blueman show was good, enjoyed it, defo worth seeing!
More gambling after in Monte, then gambled in Luxor.. Won a fair bit in the Lux, like was being silly with some hands in BlackJack, playing from $30 to $150 hands (i start my gambling day with $200, kinda!)... Managed to win over $1k with bets here and there, went to bed around 2am with $5! doh!

    June 6th:
Weather looks good, its Saturday, its Vegas, lets go get some more sun! :D
We like the VIP pool at Luxor, so paid the $40 for the comfy lounger beds by the pool, this was pitch perfect! Quieter than the main pools in terms of people, DJ pumping out some good tunes, etc....
    LuxPool_zpswvhdyzho.jpg
Spent all day in the sun, the comfy beds are a god-send!
Had Dinner in the Hard Rock Cafe which was real nice, great food, especially the Shrimp Platter!
Come to the conclusion that eating out, the average cost is always $80!

Back to Luxor casino, lost a few hundred bucks again, as i was starting to chase losses. By spending nearly $400 a day in gambling money, this was eating into my spending/BBQ sauce money!

    June 7th:
Went to Mlife desk in the morning, as figured they would close off my booking and start the booking with wifes name....
Asked if R Fee, upgrade fee & day beds could be removed.. the old bird on the desk said she cant remove any charges, but could assign $43 of my 'express comps' towards that check-out bill ?! !!!!!!!! I spend/lose money here, figured i would get something, given they always say charge all to your room, etc etc....

The lady said they look at there losses before they comp you anything, so in our case, because i had Fri/Sat night comp'd, they see it as a loss of a few hundred already, so makes it harder to comp any futher fee's, etc....
My 'coin-in' showed $900 for the 2 days, for slots & tables.... Oh well, it is what it is, still figure its not a bad deal given we were comp'd in the first place!

Today had a few clouds, so figured we would do lunch, then hit the shops/south outlet, all good until around 4pm, when coming out the south outlets, it felt like walking into an oven, and no clouds!!!! :D

Used my cheek to get 10% off here and there, on goodies where you would need to spend over X, Y and Z amounts first.... I have the Xtra coupons plus the book coupon discounts...

Tonight is JABBAWOCKEEZ (thanks chyna-s!), got there at 6:55pm, practically full show, but small seating, so no seat is a bad seat, its all good...
This show ROCKS!! It is great, funny, energetic, awesome visual, great sounds, but overall, just a super amazing show! I am so glad we saw this show this time, and would happily pay to see it, its cool!!!!! :):)

Went for Dinner in the Harley Davidson Cafe, would be rude not to, as 7th June is our wedding anniversary, and we had our wedding meal here 4 years ago, so always eat here when we do Vegas....

The Hog plate is great, and i mean real great, but fills you up big time!!! meat overload!!
What i dont like and never like about this place is, they auto add-on the 18% tip to the bill :(
    Us1_zpsxihzujbt.jpg

Back to Luxor, more gambling, more wins, more losses. Had taken out $500 to gamble with, got down to my last $50 on 3card, got a straight, got myself upto $200 by the time we went to bed about 2am...

    June 8th:
Its Monday, should be quieter, we hit the VIP pool area, i try a spot of cheek and offer $25 for the comfy VIP beds (was told they are $30), got the beds, and this becomes a super super day!
Its pure blue sky, pure awesome hot (like 106),
using Factor 2 oil wasn't my smartest move! Had the Turkey Club sarnie for lunch ($10 poolside), not bad! :D
Could manage only 30 minutes or so sunbathing before needing to get in the pool, as its like super hot!!! :)
    Luxpool3_zpsgpvep69c.jpeg
    Luxpool3_zpssxlmp7yo.jpg

For the evening, i had booked us tickets to see a Baseball game (Vegas 51's vs El Paso)... We got to the staduim just as some bird was singing the national anthem, quite surreal! Grabbed us x2 1$ hotdogs just so we would blend in! Sat in the good seats near 1st base.
This was a great idea, nice to be away from the tourists, and chilling with locals, chatted with a few and joined in with the crowds, made for a perfect evening!
Only stayed for a few innings, then left to get to 'Cravings' buffet in Mirage (myvegas) around 8:45pm...
    BaseBall5_zpsfp1uelin.jpg
    BaseBall4_zpswn4zmtqk.jpg
    BaseBall2_zpspq55huq1.jpg

I didnt realise the myvegas reward included alcohol! Beer/Wine & food = all good! Back to the Lux for around 10pm, now this time i figured i would try a scenario to do with my Mlife card, as i had been checking daily how many points i gained, and the tax info to record wins/losses....

I hit the blackjack tables with $1k, the pit supervisor makes note of the Spend, he then makes notes of my play, sooooooooooo, i managed to get it so i swap between $15 to $75 hands, higher hands when he see's me....
At the same time, i was taking my chips and slipping them into my pocket (the $25/$100 chips)....
I would play a 3 loss rule on the table, 3 bad hands and i bail... cash the chips in, Pit guy records info, etc....
We would then xchange chips for Cash, then hit another table with a different pit super.....
Play some 3card and BlackJack, change tables, cash out, etc etc...
By 2am, i had about $500 left of the $1k i took out, but given we had been playing for hours, figured this must help with my Mlife status.... Bedtime! :D

    June 9th:
Up early as it's check-out day. I log onto Mlife, i am now Pearl ! :D:D And losses for Luxor show $2k ! ;);)
Went to Mlife desk to see if they can do much with check-out charges, once again was told nothing they can do...
I have a supervisor come over (although he a slot supervisor!), he does some stuff, and removes x2 Resort fee charges from my booking, then knocks off x2 resort fee from wifes booking, and applies $15 extra off the bill from her express comps, and
then loads $30 freeplay onto her card.......

We leave Luxor, ready for our last 2 nights in the Monte Carlo. Now, for those that recall, we had a ball last year in the Monte, i had good wins, awesome suite and seriously enjoyed our stay there, so heading over to Monte, i had a hope that things would turn around for me and i would win some cash, etc......

11:30am check-in at Monte (Comp'd), tried the $20 trick, the bird was having none of it! She said no spa suites available to allocate, she could check with Hotel32 on availability for there rooms, or she can do us a Monaco Suite for $50 per night.....

I started with the creeping talk on how much we like the Monte, and we had Spa Suite last year, etc etc, blah blah..
I said let us have the suite for $20, she went off for 10 mins to talk to the boss, came back and said Deal!! :D
Got to the room, mmmm mmmmmmm !! nice and modern, spacious, we like this!! :)
    MonteRoom1_zpsmzda2mbc.jpg

Today however, is a NO SUNBATHING day, Why ? Because for the 1st time in 6 years, Vegas is overcast! Watching it on the news, and seeing the clouds, it was like a normal day in the UK, thick grey clouds with no Sun at all.! Temp was in low 80's!

Decided to hit the shops again, spend spend spend! Think i bought every colour T-shirt from RL !! :D Back to the hotel for 4:30pm, as wife needs to get ready to go out, as were seeing LOVE in the Mirage tonight (thanks Chyna-s :D )

Fancied a quick go at the tables, but seeing as i had been losing a lot, i was a bit cautious with my money...
Sat at the 3card poker table, $15 on PairPlus, $15 on Ante..... Full table.....
I look at my cards, and my mouth went dry! followed by anger cos when i play 3card, i usually do at least $25 on PairPlus.....

My cards were: 8, 9 & 10 of Spades!!!! Straight Flush!
Ok, granted, it was a nice win, around $700 i think :) Next hand, drew a straight, next a Pair, next a Pair, then lost a hand after, so i walked away with around $1200 :D:D

Went to see Love, but made it so we got there 10 minutes after it started, as i knew the tickets would be crap seats...
Show already started, we got sat near the front in great seats!! :D:D
Now the LOVE show, oh yes, it is real good, and i mean super good!! So much going on, its hard to keep track! But stunning show!

Got to Double Barrel Roadhouse for 9pm, as we had $50 myVegas to use in there....
Noooooooooooooooooooooow, they used to have Happy Hour 9 - 11pm, on bar food and drinks...
However, that changed to 2 - 5pm, but i still had a copy of the menu and the 9-11pm time showing on it...
We sat at the bar, asked to talk to the manager, he explained that it had expired and the website i found it on hadnt been updated, etc... but Cool guy, he said he would honour the prices! $4 beer and $5 well drinks + cheap select foods!
    Roadhouse2_zps2pzt6fvt.jpg

Chris the barguy, real cool, real sound guy! Looked after us, no messing around with short measures, etc.... Had nachos, a burger, 2 sliders, 14 wings! ;) Cracking food, but was waaaaaay to much for us, guess it was just nice to order and pick at bits!! :D:D
Had quite a few drinks in there, Bill got sorted out and worked out to cost $11 !! no idea how, but tipped the guy $29 ! :D

Went over to NYNY, as we got $50 drinks at Times Square Bar (yes, the bar from 2years ago that made me puke in the Bin on the bridge between NYNY & Excal! ;) )
Friendly chat with the doorman, and got us in without paying the cover fee :D
As usual, booming in there and busy (was around 11pm), ordered 2 drinks as wife wanted a Baileys style cocktail, she asked for: Baileys, Vodka & Kahula.......
    NYNY_zpslkvieyes.jpg

And thats what we got, full to the brim. Strooooooong!! :D:D
Next drink i ordered was 'Makers Mark' whiskey and coke, she poured around 170ml of whiskey and put in a splash of coke!! haha !!!!
Few more drinks and some beers, some dancing, i got that dizzy feeling and slurring going on ! ;) so asked for the bill, its $50 ?! wink wink! (we 9 drinks in there!) gave her $20 tip and left walking in zigzags!!! :D
Matt the piano guy remembered me from 2 years ago, quite weird that! Sound guy, he likes the Brits!
    NYNY1_zpsn2ayrvtf.jpg

Back to the Monte, now despite being wrecked, i didnt puke anywhere which was good, but did hit the tables... Although hit the tables with what i had on me which i cant remember, but was over $1k....
No idea what time we went to bed, and no idea if i lost or won :D 3am bed!

    June 10th:
Ouch, Ouch, Ouch :(:(:( My head hurts, and hurts bad!!!! We get downstairs around 11am to do sunbathing, i just sat slumped on a stool while she gets coffee from Starbucks, think i said 2 words all morning!

Got to the sun loungers, and i just flaked out! haha ! at least it was sunny given this was our last full day here!
By 12pm, i still felt like a tripple dead zombie, so guessed i needed my hangover cure, which is a BigMac and mcChicken sandwich! Got those from the food court, by 1pm, i was all good! :D:D No headache, felt human, time to start drinking lots of water!! :D:D

All i got left now is Factor 0 oil, putting this stuff was just like using cooking oil! At least i got a good tan i guess!
After sunbathing, back to the room to chill out, figured we would do Hooters again for our last meal, as we both like wings, and i just love Hooters anyway ! ;);)

Also, as i had a win the day before, i fancied upgrading the hire car to a big SUV....
So went to Dollar at 6pm, made up some excuse that the car was rubbish, got a swap... Doing that way, it meant the half tank of fuel i used didnt get billed to me! ;) UPgrade to a Chevvy Tahoe was $75 + fee's....
I said to the girl make that rate better and when i shake your hand, we both smile...

So she made it $30 ! ;) i tipped her $10, and then we got into a fully fueled Chevvy Tahoe LTZ ! :D
My god, i had to climb or jump to get into the seat! hehe ! ;) Massive beast!!!
    car4f_zpsxwjj9smw.jpg
    car4d_zpsfkfquuty.jpg

On way out to Hooters for dinner, decided to 1 hand on the card poker table in Monte....
$30 on PairPlus, $20 on Ante, then $20 on Play - Blind hand......
Turned over 3 aces!!!!!! :D:D:D:D I jumped out the chair! haha !!!
Pit boss guy had to wait for security to watch the video playback to approve the payout, as was just over $1k ! :D
Played in Hooters for a bit after drinner, won some cash, and then went back to the Monte...
Did my play, cash out, play, cashout, no idea what i spent, as had a few beers along the way, but finally went to bed at
    3am....

    June 11th:
Check-out day and time to drive back to LA for our 7:45pm flight home......
Went to Mlife desk at 9am to see if they could do anything with the charges on my account (R Fee+upgrade fee+misc charges).. Lady said nothing she can do, but as i have $70 in express comps, i could use that to offset some of my bill...
I was like "i've spent lots in here, upgraded to Pearl in 1 week, yet the 3 Mlife desks i have been to always say no comp'ing some fee's!! "

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!! Tax Info on my Mlife account that morning was showing over $2.5k loss in MC, along with needing only 27k points to Make Gold ! :D
Mlife lady said to talk to a host, so i knocked on the glass door near to the mlife desk, and this smart lady calls me in, executive host (had heard about them).....
Little bit of chatting, and a bit of cheek and banter, she looks at mlife account, and looks at style of play i guess, wins, losses, etc etc...

She picks up phone, calls someone, said to wipe ALL charges ! :):):)
Bit more talk, said i hope to come back for 1 week in October, she said to give her a call/email, she will sort the room full comp!!

    Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!
Checked out, got to Primm, last bit of shopping... Hit Traffic on the i15, and other freeways heading to LAX! Got SUV back to Dollar 15 min's late, but luckily no charge/penatly for that....
    Flew home, holiday over!

I took with me $2.5k in gambling money over the 11 nights, plus $1.2k as spending/Food/Drink money.

I bought loads of BBQ sauce again :D , Cheeto's crisps! and BBQ rubs, etc... Basically, i rammed as much as i could into my cabin bag (max 23kg on AA for cabin bags), and suitcase had a few clothes, and lots of sauce/drinks, etc... Didnt spend much on stuff this year, probably spent around $800 ish on clothes, few hundred on a watch, etc etc...

I come back with $1585 after spending $100 in the airport!!
So as it is, the Monte Carlo made my holiday, i got good wins, Pearl card, a host and finally all fee's waived!
Highlight of the holiday was going to the Baseball game, really enjoyed that, felt a homely thing..
Cant remember when we did some things, but did go up the Stratosphere this time, i did the Bigshot twice, the coaster that drives u over the edge, and the spinning thing that makes u look dizzy when looking down!
Wife would'nt do any of it! Hit the 107 bar after for a nice drink, that was all good! We also hit Golden Corral for lunch 1 day, maaaaaaan i do like that buffet place,
    awesome food! :D

Great place, great people, and when you know how to work a few angles, it really comes together!!!
I exclude car hire in our costs, as we always have a car...
But if i were to guess, Our holiday cost £565 each!

I wish I could go back next week, or Month even!
If any of u guys live inbetween Cardiff to Gloucester, and need some Dollars, I can sell you mine for a better rate than the shops! :)

Not gift certificates but living social and Travelzoo often have reduced price offers, 2-4-1's etc.

Thanks Lesley 74. Really appreciate your advice.

No, we have never been to Bahama Breeze - only came across it recently whilst researching. My daughter used the one in Orlando regularly and swears by it. We use many of those you mention ..... groupon, r.com and living social. I get some comp nights with Total Rewards but don't do the social rewards thing as I only use facebook for myvegas hence have no friends on there.....ahhhhhh.:rotfl:

I'm aware that some on here stay at the Orleans and since my last post I have made contact with them and have managed to obtain a gift card that can be used at all Boyd properties so I'm delighted. We always get 4 nights between us comped and is our 'baby' hotel as it was the first we ever stayed in. Since then we have stayed in many others including two of those you mention - Wynn & Platinum but we return to Orleans for a few days every year.

September is our usual month, a great time to be in the greatest city on earth.

I rarely post on here but peruse regularly so get so great tips from the regulars but I have never seen gift certs mentioned hence my question.

    Regards, Mick

Thank Stuie for the trip report, looks like you had a good time.
I love reading all these reports, especially now my trip is getting closer :)

What is the food like in the Mirage Buffet? I've been considering that one.

Thank you jadamcp, martmonk and stuie for taking the time to write your trip reports, I really enjoyed reading them!

Stuie do you attend a cheek/banter course before you go?;) I wish I could be a bit more like that. I asked for the first time last year to review my bill, I did get resort fees removed for 14 nights which I was pleased with as I didn't even book direct so room was paid for but had put a few meals on.

I go in 4 weeks so imagine it will be baking hot not sure how much sunbathing I'll manage...any excuse to get back into cool casino...

Don't suppose anyone has done a tandem skydive in Vegas? OH fancies trying it this time.

Some lovely trip reports, Stuie sounds like you had same issues like me regarding Comp rooms and then trying to get additional spend taken off. Glad you found a host!

I am writing my TR so will post in the next few days hopefully :-)

We went for lunch yesterday and both enjoyed it. Was a myvegas 241, drinks are included - wines and draft beers - I thought the dim sum was better than I've had in most buffets.

    Desserts were a little disappointing.

Mirage buffet was OK, nothing special.....
Compared to Spice Market for Dinner, it wasn't as good, but for free, it did the trick! :D

I had dreams last night I booked us a flight to go back to Vegas next month, if only!!! I need a lotto win! :D
