Sometimes taking a little detour gets you a better price. Look at all options.
We quite like non direct. Vegas is almost 11 hours direct. you can break it up by going to JFK, ATL, PHL or ORD, getting off to stretch your legs, get some decent food in you and taking another 3-5 hour flightThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
Indeed - over the years as well as flying direct I've changed planes at (in no particular order) New York (JFK) New York (Newark) Dallas, Houston, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Boston, Memphis, Chicago St Louis, San Francisco...................and I can think of the same number of other airports I could have routed through instead.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Ohh, I forgot about St. Paul/Minneapolis, lovely little airport, unlike Atlanta which I don't like AT ALL.The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. Ok thanks lol. Lots of airports to try!
Next question.
I'm trying to follow the instructions on the first page to get playing myvegas.
So far nothing has gone the route of the instructions 1-8 except point 1.
I've set up my ac with Mlife so that's gone to plan. I've joined a facebook page of myvegas but it says its a non official page. There are a few pages on the search but its not clear which one to join. Some are just pages to like but don't seem to let me join. I'm no expert on facebook by the way. I just have my own page and rarely post anything. They've accepted my join the group request.
Now I can't complete point 2 which says find the sub heading add me or add friends.
can't seem to see point 6 seeing players walking up and down strip. Can't invite neighbours etc.
Any help would be appreciated as I'm completely out of my depth. Thanks0 -

@LonestarFan
You need to add new friends on your facebook to get neighbours...
So when you join a group, scroll down the wall (the main page), and look for the section entitled 'ADD Friends', etc etc...
You then do friend requests to other myVegas players, once you got some friends, you can then invite to add them as neighbours, or they do the same to you, etc......
You can also add yourself to the list so peeps ask you to become there friends....0 -
We go to the Pro Gun Club. About half an hour drive (but I think they do a free pick up). You can do loads more than an indoor range. Sniper, skeet, clays, even fire semi heavy artillery if you have the money. In the summer go early about 8am because by 10 you will be melting. We usually spend a couple of hours there and go through $200-$300
Would you recommend? Having had a look their prices seem reasonable and I like the fact you can pick the exact guns you want. Transport isn't an issue for me as we'll have a car.0 -

ThanksStuie.
I've sent loads of new friend requests having joined the page. I now can't find out how to invite them as neighbours as I can't see invite or "more."
Am I supposed to be on the main wall of myvegas to invite neighbours or should I be on my own Facebook page to invite neighbours.
I also don't knwo how to add myself. All in all I'm rubbish at facebook having never played a Facebook game in my life but hope to get there bit by bit lol!
I've been playing some spin games and got 1190 loyalty points so think I'm getting somewhere. Constantly says can't connnect to iTunes store tho. Not sure why it needs to. Think its cos I've only got a few chips and it thinks I want to buy some maybe. I don't intend to buy any. So I'm waiting for the bonus to come due in four hours.
Haven't got anyone at home to help me til half term lol so perhaps I'll take my iPad to work and see if they can sort me out as a few people at work play Facebook games.0 -
If your playing on an Ipad/Android, not sure on the setup for that....
But if playing through your normal browser on a computer, when your in the MyVegas game, and you can see the strip, you can see some options in your top left which are REWARDS, GAMES and then a drop down option...
Click that, choose invite friends, then select myvegas players, easy peasy0
