Think I may have been a bit ambitious with my target! Oh well - we shall see
Sounds like you are doing OK, greent:T. Well done with Ziffit , they never want any of my books:( and you're sending 10!
Do you do car boot sales? The season is just getting into it's stride now the weather is picking up. Some good profit to be made for 'clutter' and things you don't think will sell individually elsewhere.
Good Luck:beer:0 -

Back after a little hospital break. Managed to get a couple of parcels posted that were listed before I went in but had a break since. So today I decided I better get started again, I have listed five items today and have got watchers on one of them so I have my fingers crossed. I will try to remember how to change my signature now to include the £10.40 I got for my last two items and hope there will soon be more to add.Sell £1500

Just popping in to say hi and well done to everyone - I'm yet to get "get off the mark" - problem with me is Im not savvy with IT so rely on DD to help with Eb*y - which is so not a priority for her!:rotfl:
I need to look at other avenues - i have started a collection of "stuff" and will assess whether to do car boot or not - items such as dvds, clothes, books so far.0 -
takingcontrolatlast, I was the same but am getting to grips with ebay. This week I learned how to do my own photos and upload them. If I can do it I am sure you can. You will get some help and advice from people on here as well, they are really helpful.
I listed 8 items this week and have bids on two of them, one has 14 watchers so I hoping for a bidding war. Well I can hope can't I. At the moment it adds up to £16 before fees so won't make me rich but it all helps and it is keeping me busy and sorting out clutter. I have donated a couple of things that didn't sell and have definitely managed to clear a corner but a long way to go.Sell £1500

Sold my first item and listed 2 more. It is only £5 but I still have £16 in other bids so getting closer to halfway in the challenge. Hoping to make it to the £500 by this time next week.Sell £1500

Note to self : When I find things I can list 'at some point', take the pics and generate the listing details in a Word document. That way, when I get up on Sunday to discover I've been given 100 free listings (with 50% off final selling fee for any that sell as well) I'll actually have things ready to list !!
Fortunately OH was only here until very early afternoon (as he was starting night shifts last night), so I managed to scramble 29 new auctions together by 11pm. I then relisted 31 items that had closed (and relisted and closed again) without selling over the last couple of months as they were one-button-clicks from within my account.
I still have 13 more items I got photos of (before natural light disappeared, at which point I struggle to get decent quality), so I need to sort those listings this week for putting up before month end as part of my normal 20 free monthly insertions..... and I'd best have a dig around to see if I can find 7 more to make full use of those
Then make a start on finding things for more listings for next month and onwards.
I finally have enough seller feedbacks to get the star ratings showing, so if I find anything I think will sell for more than a fiver I'm happy enough to list it now
But I still need to find an afforable courier who will deliver breakable ornaments with insurance (there's no way I'm risking them with RM as there's no insurance available due to them being breakable!). I know how to pack these things so am confident they'll arrive fine as long as no-one plays football with the packages en-route, but can't afford to have to refund on even the 'odd one' that doesn't make it through. I could also do with someone who offers the service to the USA as the ornaments certainly used to be even more popular out there than they were here, so being able to open up shipping to there could increase the price I get for them.Cheryl0
