  • Well done! :T

I sometimes think the freedom from clutter is more valuable than the money itself:j

Definitely agree with you there :)

Didn't know that, cw18. It was someone who wanted me to ring their mobile too. Just felt all wrong to me. Ah well, will have to make that £2 somewhere else...

Now THAT I'd draw the line at. Why should I spend all my credit trying to make a £2 sale. If they want the item and need to speak to me about it, then they can call ME --- and that only if I feel happy enough to give them my number.

Thank you cw18! I concur! And sending textx costs me money too.

  • Sold a couple of books on Amazon, just been to post. That's 5 book sales in the past week. Will add proceeds to total when it's in my bank account.

All the eBay stuff I listed last weekend has bids (some of them just the initial bid) but they don't end until tomorrow evening so there's still plenty of time for more activity. At least I know they'll all go even though I won't be getting rich on the proceeds from such cheap items. Easy and cheap to post at least:j
  • Updating signature for May. Keep it up everyone.

  • Not making as much headway as I'd like with car boot sales because of car problems recently but all fixed now so ready to clear some more clutter this weekend:j

Since last update (seems weeks ago) I've sold (after all costs/fees/postage etc):
    • £29.94 (5 books on Amazon)
    • £27.15 on eBay. This was a lot of small, cheap things but used up my free monthly listings (never had one of those 100 free listings that everybody else seems to get:mad:) and posted them using stamps that I stockpiled from postal surveys that pay out with stamps. Made more than I might otherwise have done without that.
    Total: £57.09:)

Keep up the good work, everybody. Brilliant amounts mentioned in so many posts:T. Puts my pathetic efforts to shame:o

Up to date figures in my signature :) Have just boxed up 10 books for Ziffit and parcelled up a handbag sold on ebay this morning :D Spent ages listing some toys on ebay earlier - have 100 free listings, ending tonight, so also relisted all my unsold items - a batch handily finished this morning. Have about another dozen items of my own to list, which I shall try and so this evening. That then leaves me my 20 free monthly listings untouched for if I find anything else over the next couple of weeks. have also taken 2 bags of stuff to CS this morning.

Beginning to struggle a bit to find things to sell now. There's a NNS coming up in June which I have a load of stuff priced up for, but that's all small fry stuff. Think I may have been a bit ambitious with my target! Oh well - we shall see :D
