People are doing so well, I am in awe of doing 31 listings in a day. I have had ten on as a max and get worried about mixing everything up. I sold two things yesterday so that is abother £24. I have three things left on e bay, one a relist, so I am going to list some more tonight. I have been packing them up this morning so they are ready to go.
This thread is great, so wonderful to get the support and by the time I am finished I will have had a good clear out and have the money for my decorating projects so it is a real win win.
Good luck everyone.Sell £1500

This thread has inspired me to get myself organised. I retired a few weeks ago and after years rushing round I now have a bit of time. Well first off I won't get my SRP for another three years but wanted to retire at 60 but couldn't. My DH retired a long time ago as he is severely disabled so I have been working and caring and for many years bringing up DC as well. So this year it just got too much so I bit the bullet and retired. To help with money I applied for Carers Allowance and just found out I am getting it, its about £250 a month so a big weight off my mind. Today I decided to sort out some old accounts so I closed them down, have just left them for years with hardly anything in them so now I have a cheque for £13 heading my way and I have another one to sort out that has £38 in it. Not strictly selling £1,000 but as I said I am so pleased with my selling and clearing out that I thought it was time to sort out finances. My next mission is the house insurance, got the renewal yesterday so I am going to look for a cheaper deal.
Hope you don't mind me putting it in here, just wanted to tell someone.Sell £1500
