Dublin - somewhere I have always wanted to go and never made time. It is def on my "to do" list somewhere!!

Sleep well, and lets hope lots of lovely buyers look at your house details this weekend.

That's us too. It's one of the places on OH and my hitlist but we are yet to go there.

Natlou, thanks for the survey link, I didn't have that one.

I was supposed to be going to a duty free sale at lunchtime today, but I left my tickets in the other car - but :j as it means I won't spend any money!!!

Dublin is a great place to go on a budget. We're staying at a really nice hotel, and because it's slightly out of the city (no point staying in Temple Bar if you're not drinking!) it was about £60 a night (plus £8-odds through Quidco of course!). I'm planning on making full use of the leisure facilities for once so hopefully we'll get value for money!

I'm Sooooo bored this morning. Not checked any other diaries yet - anyone doing anything exciting? Natlou, window dressing sounds like fun. I wouldn't have a clue what to do though, and it would end up looking like a 4 year old had done it! Chocaholic, what are you planning on cleaning today? :p :rotfl:

Here's hoping you're right about the housebuyers Hypno. Which reminds me, I'd better check that the muppets have sorted our Rightmove ad!

Grrrr! Muppets have finally changed the price and removed the open day advert, BUT they're still advertising stamp duty paid, which it most definitely is NOT at £249k, which was made very clear to them! Is it me?!!!

Lol, i sound like a right bore! Haven't even cleaned myself yet (yuck, sorry!). sitting in my dressing gown instead of going in the shower.

half tempted to go up the attic but i know that I won't know where to start! Got some crafty type stuff for DD yesterday so I think we are going to attempt and advent calendar in the shape of a christmas tree using matchboxes! not sure how that one will turn out!

Won't be going far as spent far too much in Asda last night and had £215 car repairs to pay today so completely broke :(

You've GOT to post a picture of that for us - that sounds like classic Blue Peter! I'm actually jealous, as I love crafty stuff but I can't see DS being particularly interested for a while yet (if ever), and with 2 boys I suspect that matchbox Christmas trees will be on the back burner while Playstations and the like get all the attention.

Panda - You'll be ok with the crafty stuff up to the age of about 6, after that they'll only be interested if you can make a light sabre out of a kitchen roll innard! You are totally right about the playstations though - my boys have mainly games on their xmas lists, which cost about thirty quid a pop and look nothing when they're wrapped up. Good job I have my little girl now - I can't wait until she wants to do crafty stuff with me - probably turn out to be a tomboy though with two brothers!
One of my friends is coming over from Doncaster today, so we are off out tonight, probably only go to one of those nightmare playbarn pubs (you know, the ones you swear you'll never go in before you have kids). Its just that DS is turning into a right independant madam - she wont go in her highchair, wants to sit on a proper chair to eat, neither will she go in her pushchair or let you do anything for her at all - kids eh??

:rotfl: Maybe it's because he's got gender issues!

Sorry, I know what you meant! My DS was exactly the same pretty much from birth onwards, and I can sympathise as it is really hard work. Hope you enjoy the night out, even if it isn't to the trendiest place in the world!
