Aaargh, at work and just been told they're going to switch the internet off for 2 hours in 5 mins time, just as I was catching up on everything and had a plan of action for the afternoon. What on earth will I do?!0
-
Hi PP, hope you survive the next couple of hours somehow!!

Well, back home and back online. but only briefly as I'm going to have some grub and then have a bit of a CHAOS clean! Imaging doing anything so inconsiderate as taking the internet away from us on a Sunday? What on earth were we supposed to do?!
I've got to update my signature again, because I paid off my Virgin card in full yesterday:j and DH's Virgin card took £150 more by DD than we were expecting  but :j because when I put those figures into the spreadsheet it knocked another month off our DFD :j :j :j ! The numbers are upstairs, so will update it later.0 -
wow, another debt gone, well done you must be really pleased!
:T0 -
well done on getting rid of the virgin card, will be looking for the new zero balance on your sig. what will be the next to go?DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0

Yep, it does feel great!
Although it's a slight cheat, as I've only paid off about £400 in cash - the other £9,750 has been balance transferred to a 4.9% LOB card, but I'm happy in the meantime as I get another green row on my spreadsheet!!!
I've just been spending the time I should have been cleaning in the bedroom re-re-revising the spreadsheet again as we just realised we're paying £150 and not £125 a month to DH's HSBC card. And it's brought it back by another full month!!! So new DFD Feb 2012, and I thought I was doing well yesterday with march 2012! Desperately want to get it into 2011, so going to chuck as much at it as I can - great motivation!0 -
Right - to shame myself into action...
Here's how my bedroom SHOULD look (taken from estate agents details):
Lovely, right? Contemporary, serene, relaxing...
Here's how it looks right now...
Not much difference then?:rotfl:
I MUST sort this out. Got a TK Maxx gift voucher, which is going straight towards some new duvet covers tomorrow (got a lovely bedspread as in top photo, but it's too much hassle every day) as the pink/brown/orange/red/white look just doesn't seem to have the same effect!0 -
Excellent - although if mine looks like your "before" photo, I think I am doing pretty well
I could not bring myself to take "before" photos.......far too shameful. But I am much happier with it now - just need to keep up the momentum of the challenge! The lounge is a fairly big job, and it really needs freshening up with re-decoration too, but I can't see that being done in the near future!
Love your colour scheme......can I buy your house.....I have always wanted a big bedroom. Mine only just has enough room to walk around the bed - and that's when it is tidy!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I vaguely remember being able to walk around the bed - there should be enough space, but it's covered in...actually I don't know what it is...stuff!
Lol - hope the colour scheme you love is on the tidy photo and not the 'now' one!
And Hypno, you are very, very welcome to buy my house as is anyone else. I'll even tidy it up before you move in!0
