mother hen, it really does help to have fresh eyes on your SOA, others may see things you havnt, either way it is quite liberating to post it.

Hypno, what sort of file size are you trying to put up to Ebay/Auctiva? I know you've just started using Auctiva, and from experience I found that if the photos are more than 100k then could take forever to upload, so now I use Picasa to resize them and it's really quick (usually!). When they come off my camera they're about 2mb so that's about 20 photos for the price of 1! Although I do quite believe you that Auctiva can be slow...!
Hi Mother Hen, thanks for posting! Laughing at you saying I'm organised!!! I've just realised that I've sold a load of kids books on Ebay that I don't actually have, so spent the last half hour emailing people and sending refunds! Will look out for your SOA - you will always get a load of fairly predictable comments about reducing gas/elec, phones, sky etc, but it is amazing how having some other people look at it can make you see things that you missed! Good luck with the 0% swop! Look out for the Goldfish card as well - I heard a rumour that they were about to introduce a long-term or life-of-balance 3.9% deal!
Lunar, I wish I could take loads of credit for working hard on Ebay, but it was really just a quick burst in between the usual long spells of laziness, and a few of the things were really high value (including the free TV that Argos sent us by mistake - a few days to go and just over £200!). Currently total is at £389 plus £73 just sold, totalling £462.
Unfortunately I don't know how much of that is going to be debt overpayment as we've overspent this month and with Xmas on the horizon, plus a weekend in Dublin... but as I always say, any overpayments are a bonus - so long as we don't get any more debt I'm quite happy, so at least this cash will ensure we don't put any of Xmas on cards!
Well, I think I'm off to bed as DH is on nightshift (which means pretty much guaranteed 7 hours sleep, just not in his own bed, before any of you start to feel sympathetic towards him!). I get the toddler interrupted night (since he stopped wearing nappies a few months ago, I always wake up when I hear him on his potty!), but at least I get the bed to myself with no snoring to listen to, AND I don't have to be up in the morning!
Night all!0 -

I hope you managed to get a good night's sleep, and even better - a lie in!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Sadly I'm even more knackered today - DS decided he's wake up at midnight and scream randomly for over 2 hours (just to spite me, obviously!), as well as waking me at 7.30 this morning. Never mind - will try again tonight...
Glad you got the photo thingy sorted Hypno - you'll be racing on with your stuff now, if you can drag yourself out of your clean bathroom! Hope your day in prison was good fun!
Been too busy today to do anything with my spreadsheet but dying to get stuck into it and see how the books balance for this month. Got a bit of a feeling that they don't due to credit card transfer fees, but hey-ho, we'll sort something out!
Ebay total now at £427 + sold auctions £73 = £500 exactly (less the pennies and the P&P, fees etc). Still a week to go on a lot of the stuff. Hooray!0 -
Sorry to read that you are shattered - I am too, so will be finishing my drink and getting an early night.
my day was good, thanks, I am really looking forward to starting properly!

Yay, feel refreshed after a good uninterrupted night (apart from the obvious pregnant wee every hour-and-a-half!). DH actually had to do a bit of work at work last night, so only got 4 hrs sleep and is in bed until lunchtime, so I'm hoping - toddler permitting - to go upstairs and update my spreadsheets and signature!
Got my delivery from Mothercare yesterday, very fast delivery. The travel system is sitting mocking me in the hallway, just daring me to open the box. The breast pads and maternity towels have taken temporary pride of place on the mantlepiece. I MUST take those upstairs before any visitors arrive!
Hope everyone has a good Friday!0 -
Happy Friday to you too Panda Paws! Glad to hear you had a good nights rest last night, it makes all the difference.
Take Care

P.S - Congratulations on your pregnancy also, I too have 2 boys just 20 months apart (although they are 9 and 7 now) but they are the best of friends. When second DS was born, I secretly wanted a girl and felt really guilty about it, but I wouldn't swap the closeness my boys have now for the world. And I did eventually get my girl - shes 18 months now!0 -
pandapaws, I have some free samples and bits from bounty packs that I never used - avent baby stuff and things like that. If you want them, PM me your address and I can send them for you.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Hi Natlou, and thanks - really hoping my two will be close friends although just over 3yrs apart.
You're brave to have a third after that gap! We've said we'll definitely stick at 2 kids, I don't think I've got the temperament for a third (I don't have the temperament for the one I've got, never mind 2nd...).
Good luck with the 20 card challenge!0
