I have unfortunately lost the art of NBI over the last few weeks. My partner has had another nasty attack of something which needed another visit to A and E resus plus six days in hospital. So I just bought willy nilly and just got on with the hospital routine.

However he is out and back to work although still out of sorts. I am trying to find things to tempt him to eat but not really succeeding.

My time with the FODMAP diet is now at an end and I have to say it has been amazing how it has reduced my stomach issues. It has meant I have been reading all ingredient info but that is no bad thing I guess.

What I have noticed is that "free from" foods are so expensive and often tasteless. We usually eat homemade meals but having to do without mushrooms and onions has been almost unbearable, I love them!!!

I lost my feisty little Scots Mum just before Christmas 1962 ,but I have never forgotten her, and every day I do something that she had taught me growing up. She will always be with you no matter what.Take it easy and be kind to yourself.take time to grieve and reflect
