So... It has come to light that RM left the parcel in a neighbours bin! No card left.. and not even my own bin!

Someone saw.. took the parcel and messaged me on FB.. Because I didnt reply straight away she has taken it to the post office... I wish she had knocked on my door :-(

So now I don't know where my parcel is... I have been online on the RM website to track the parcel. Someone has signed it using my surname and it wasn't me!

I am not sure what to do now. RM should have not left the parcel in a neighbours bin (Day before collection day too!!!)

    Someone has forged my signature!!??

AND I still dont know where my parcel is.

    :(:(:(

You should be grateful you have such a kind and helpful neighbour..

I suppose it was a good deed.. Although Taking the parcel on the Monday... Trying to message me on the Saturday... and then taking the parcel back to the PO has left me anxious for 2 weeks.

Her message never mentioned the parcel.. it asked if I lived at 61 XXXXX and when I asked if I knew her.. she blocked me.

My Partner then messaged her to see if it was anything to do with the parcel.. and thats when she advised that she had taken it to PO.

Knocking on my door may have been easier for all involved, however I am thankful she didnt just leave it in the bin.

Yes- no suppose about it- it was a good deed.
perhaps there's a reason she didn't feel confident to knock on your door.

You have to say that there's a reason she didn't feel confident to knock on your door.

If it was such a good deed, why send me half a message, block me and not let me know where my parcel is?

I don't understand why don't you just go to the post office and ask if they have your parcel?

Why wait almost a week with my parcel before messaging me?

My post is asking for advice and help on my rights re my parcel, not whether my neighbour did a good deed.

because they likely assumed you had a card and would pop round.

To be honest I didnt think! Usually I would have a card saying unable to deliver etc.. and I would have gone to the PO.

With having no card I presumed that it just had not arrived yet/been delayed etc... When I realised I called RM with the tracking no.
