    LOL! Goodnight ;)
  • My Amazon account, they are a very good value company which is why I buy so many times, sorry Fella, your hate campaign against them will not effect them in the slightest. Look at my account & I shop around a lot and they are always cheapest, times this by the amount of customers they have your thread isn't going to make the slightest difference!

  • Generally when items go on sale, I thought there was a law stating that the item had to have been on sale at the higher price indicated in the advert for a set number of days in the previous 28 days. The % off displayed in the sale advert should be the % off the general price (not the RRP) in my opinion. The toothbrush being discussed is currently showing £65 (saving you £35), yet it hasn't been for sale at £100 since June, so this is definitely misleading and is against the government's Pricing Practices Guide 1.6 Comparisons with "Recommended Retail Price" or similar
1.6.1 You should not use a recommended retail price, or similar, as a basis of comparison which is not genuine, or if it differs significantly from the price at which the product is generally sold.
I'd argue that the camelcamel site proves the item is not 'generally sold' at £100.
Also a Scam; scam (skæm) n1.a stratagem for gain; a swindle
I'd also say that this is a deliberate 'strategem for gain'

I bought something on amazon and checked camel camel camel and even the used price was £8 dearer. As many people say, theses no money saved on an impulse buy. I have been planning these purchases for christmas but just hung on till the sales and seem to have got decent prices on everything

  • I wrote a review earlier on the FS60 and to my surprise it got published, it said:
This appears to be a remodelled CP6500, which retails at the equivalent of £124 in Canada. It seems to have been rebranded to avoid any price comparison taking place in order that you think you're getting a bargain.
12/14 people found it useful, which I like to think means I've saved a few people some money today, plus the sale ended with only 27% claimed of the available stock.

I don't use Amazon due to their tax arrangements and business practice (means squeezing the small business in most cases). There is nothing on Amazon I can't buy anywhere else and it is not that cheap most of the time.

As for the rest, I don't see the point of having a fight over something like this.
