Morning Everyone
MERRY CHRISTMAS for Yesterday...and HAPPY BOXING DAY for today!!
Had quite a chilled out day yesterday with Family...although I was up until nearly 5am Working and then got up again at 7am....so I had to go to bed for an hour or two in the Afternoon....but that was fine....apart from that, the Food was AMAZING!!
I think I Potted a bit of change on Christmas Eve but that feels like an awful long time ago...so I can't quite remember!! LoL.
Got LOTS of lovely Pressies and so I'm very very grateful....I have actually put most of them away, which is not like me (well not until about June!! LoL)....
I didn't have anything to Pot yesterday as I didn't spend anything....but today I'm doing a little bit of Food Shopping so hopefully there will be a bit to Pot tonight when I get home from Mum's....
Just about to start Work....catch you all later on xXx0 -
Happy Christmas everyone. Hope everyone had a lovely day yesterday and that today is all relaxed and chilled out.Challenge savings 2010-2016 £1564.60:j

Had a lovely chilled day with hubby and my boys! Had a couple of friends over for dinner. Hoping to get out tomorrow for a walk with the kids.
Well jakes-mum was right DH was saving his coppers for a new pot he bought me AND it adds it up as you go along. SOOO proud of himself as he potted 38p in it for me
Also got £30 from parents and I don't need anything (I'm not one for raking in the sales, my idea of hell ) so I have put it in my original sealed tub.
So total saved yesterday was £30.38.
Hope everyone who was poorly is feeling better now
I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday and that today is just as goodDebt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

Yayyy! I was right,I was right, I was right :j you know that would be my ultimate present :rotfl: I didn't get my sealed tin BUT I did get a new sewing box for all my crochet stuff. According to mum, DD was adamant that she was getting me one and picked it herself, I was a bit teary as my boys are rubbish at present buying (and keeping secrets) so I've kind of got used to knowing exactly what I'm getting (and usually paying for it myself)
Well Christmas Day was eventful, and we were all reminded why mummy doesn't do mornings! Got to 1pm before I had my mother of all meltdownswhat we did find though is that Christmas dinner at 6pm works much better for all of us! Was a bit weird having ham sandwiches for lunch but no one had bad stomach or felt over full so will be doing that from now on!
Happy Boxing Day to everyone, am off to the parents so have to pack up all my own food, as bless her, my mum never remembers what any of her kids can't eat and tries to make us All I'll on regular occasions :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Good evening everyone, I'm new to this forum but thank you to Sue-UU for the very warm welcome and giving me my challenge number. I am using a money box for now until I get a sealed pot to use for the challenge. It is in the shape of a dog and I have had it since I was a little girl. My brother had a Basil Brush money box but I've always been fond of my dog.
Went out today for a walk to blow away the cobwebs. It was colder and very breezy! We drove to a local beauty spot for a walk round the reservoir. When we were looking for a convenient parking spot we spotted a couple acting strangely. She was hobbling across the road almost bent over and clutching at the hood on her coat, whilst the chap was just standing there in a jumper, and it was far too cold for a jumper! Anyway, we slowed right down and I wound down the window to see if they were ok. Turns out they had broken down and the RAC man was having trouble finding them. He was waiting at a farm with a wind turbine and they were heading up the hill to find him. Anyway, they jumped into the car and we gave them a lift down the lane to the farm with the windmill - it was about 3 miles away, uphill and down dale. It would have taken them ages to get there, they weren't a young couple. Chap would have had exposure before they found him. Anyway, good deed done, we had a lovely walk. Went in a little tea room for a cuppa and got back to the car just before dark. Hubby made Christmas Dinner patties for tea. Yum! Christmas dinner leftovers shaped into a burger and baked in the oven.
Had some £2 coins in my purse so I put them into the dog along with some 5ps and coppers. It's a start and one I'll be following up during the year. Have a happy new year all, whatever you may be doing.
I can't seem to post smilies. Does anyone know why?Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90
