please note that instead of giving you the following No on the list I've given you No 79! I'm sure that member would have returned by now, and if she does, I'll give her a new one.
Well done on reaching your Target. :)

It's good to see that, even with all the rain you're having up there, Lynne, that the business and activities of general Christmas shopping/shoppers still gives you all the excitement of Christmas. :)
Sue...My bed is LUVERLY!!! But, the pre-Christmas Meal was NOT!! :( The Food was awful, the Service was appalling and it seemed to be "pick on Helen" night from my Family....so I came home feeling thoroughly depressed and tearful....went to bed....woke up around 9.30pm with a sniffly nose and sore throat...worked for a little while and then went back to bed....

Soooooooooo, I'm writing off yesterday as a bad Day and starting this Week afresh....I'm going to be full of hope....full of joy...and be grateful for the things I have - Like a nice Flat, a few different Jobs, Weekly Wages from most of those Jobs and a Family that I DO know love me, even if they sometimes don't show it....

Sue...hope you are also feeling LOTS better and Thank You for ALL of your hard work this Year...I think you're amazing...xXx :)

Oooooh, I dunno about that last bit, Helen, caring yes, but amazing?! ;) You stay happy with your lovely family gift, which must have been given with love! :kisses: You say the meal and service was awful so I can understand that maybe the family, having really looked forward to the meal out, started to possibly get a little scratchy about it; perhaps you too became a little that way, not at them, but at the restaurant folk. From that sort of situation on things can get a little clouded and feel as though folk are hitting out at each other when in fact they're not! My thoughts may well be wrong, but my advice would be, get in touch with your Mum today just a casual "can't stop telling you how gorgeous my bed is, by the way, what a shame about the meal last night, are you ok?" See how things go then. Everyone gets a little fraught as Christmas approaches, Helen, and things don't always come across as they should. Show them plenty of love, hopefully they'll respond in the same way! The main thing is - that they LOVE you! :kisses3: Love, Sue xxx ;)

Hello again, little_sweetie, it's so lovely to see you, though I'm so sorry your DD and GD are poorly, I hope they can improve before Wednesday and that you and G stay free! Thinking of you both, and thanks for your kind words. What a GT indeed!!!! :D Take care of yourself and don't worry too much about catching up, you've enough on your plate! :) BTW, I'm certainly getting better thanks. :grinheart

A very Merry Christmas to you too, Electricblue, and all the best for the New Year, see the message below. BTW, I just received your PM and will get back to you later. Take heart and remember that time helps, albeit slowly xx :)

Hi GAP and well done with your potting. I hope you stay snow-free for Christmas! :D

A very Merry Christmas, All Potters
And best wishes for a safe, healthy and Happy New Year!!! :xmastree:

Have to agree with Sue, hope you feel better now Helen. You manage to have such a positive attitude most of the time and I admire that - so don't let the *******s grind you down eh? :kisses3:

Potted a luvverly £2 coin last night and some shrapnel. May not get much now until next year but I'll try.

In order to share our good fortune I will make one more donation to the Food Bank for this year when we go into town tomorrow.

A lovely £1 coin is also being potted right now :D

  • Hey all.

I have had a busy busy time of late so sadly not much potting has been going on :(

I did, however, find 30p in the vending machine, £1 in the cafe yesterday and a very badly beaten 1p found in the car park this morning. I have had a great week for roadkill!!

I have a fair amount of change in my purse and it's my last day at work Christmas eve so everything i have left over by the end of the day i will put in my pot.

I still have all my Christmas shopping to do :( I think i'm just going to concentrate on the food and deal with presents after Christmas and just apologise to everyone! :(

Pre-Christmas is soooooooo busy for us!! At least i got a present for Matt and they'll only be the two of us on Christmas Day so meh.........

**hugs** to all who need them. I'm going to try driving home without falling asleep now

Also, well done on the total. It's fantastic!!!!!!!
