Afternoon everyone, I hope you're all well and still potting the pennies or pounds, keep doing so as November 5th will come round soon enough and we don't want any disappointed faces, not that we can see them, but you get my drift. Take care all SPCers, especially those who aren't well or who are simply in need of some {{{hugs}}} there you go, you have them.

Thank you so much, Kerry, it couldn't have been better. Good saving btw.

I'm shocked that you forgot the DD, jakes-mum, still hopefully it shouldn't take long to retrieve it. You and hubby be sure to get well soon, and thanks for the giggles about your poor man. :rotfl:

You may still need to yet, Lynsey, especially if Sunday & Monday's forecast is correct - and what after that!!!! What happened to late summer? I just hope we don't go straight into bally winter! It's a bloomin horrible day here...again! :(

Thanks a lot, Helen, I'll agree with you there. We all really benefited, I adore rock-pooling, the Grandkiddies too so that was great. Though an hour playing tennis last Wednesday made me a bit achy for a day or two, brilliant though. BTW, let that dream go, yes they're horrible and sometimes very frightening, but they're just dreams. Smile through the rest of the days.

Well done with your potting, Ben, you're doing really well. :D
I have updated my total in my signature (finally) and i have £2.72 to add to the pot when i am home.

I desperately need to get back on the saving bandwagon. I have been doing so bad recently. I've added £50 to my holding pot/emergency fund today. I get paid today so will start adding money every week and limiting my spends on other pretties.

I really want my SPC and holding pot to pay for a new phone for me and all my Christmas presents and with only 2 and a half months to go i need to get cracking!!!

Surely having in access of £1,000 isn't doing too badly, Ruth. Still, if you can up it some more then get cracking and do so!! :j

Step outside for a bit, Westie, you can't call that a drought, though seriously, I hope you can up your saving ASAP. ;)

Many thanks, Modesty, BTW, it that your mugshot?? If so, pleased to meet you. :D

A whopping £30 in the pot after going carefully on holiday, happy about that.

Incidentally, a little off topic and I don't usually bring the outside world in, but Tara our Cilla, you were fantastic in every way.

Make it a really FANTASTIC WEEKEND, everyone, keep dribbling the cash in those pots!

  • Hi Everyone

Welcome back Sue-UU :j Sounds like you had a fab holiday. I've not been around much but still potting away and losing weight :D - 1 stone lost so far and about another 1 stone left to lose. It's always more difficult to lose the last few pounds but I'm stepping up the exercise and swimming twice a week now on top of walking more during the week.

Potting £2.50 today - pot is now very heaving! Not long to go before I can count the cash.

Have a lovely weekend everyone (weather permitting) :) x

    Afternoon all :hello:

Great to hear you had a good holiday Sue-uu, as I know you deserved one after all the traumas of the past few months :)

Have potted £10 today so still strolling along nicely. Would like to pot a bit more but saving for my holibobs in September. Will see if I manage to bring back any monies this time :o

Same old weather today. Just realised that I have only managed to sit out in the sunshine for one day only this 'summer' Still, it could be worse as at least it's not too cold this week.

Hope you all have a super weekend and remember to give your loved ones a big ((hug)) and kiss and tell them you love them - for no reason at all except that you do :D

I was working in the lab late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my monster from his slab began to rise
    And suddenly to my surprise

    He did the mash
    He did the monster mash
    The monster mash
    It was a graveyard smash
    He did the mash
It caught on in a flash
    He did the mash
    He did the monster mash
