Hello there, Potters!!! It's great to be back with you after an absolutely wonderful holiday!! It was the perfect getaway and we all had great fun, laughs and so much pleasure - great weather too apart from one day when we played some hilarious games in the caravan in the morning. For anyone who loves games then do try "Dobble" it's a brilliant and cheap game that gives so much laughter, though I'm not entirely sure our DGS wasn't cheating at times! If you all have as much enjoyment as we did then you'll have truly enjoyed your holidays, for those sill to have yours - enjoy yourselves to the full.

I hope you all had a marvellous time too, jakes-mum! I see you too got stung at the arcades! Lovely to see them all have fun at the only places where we're never the winners! Brilliant work with the £74!!! :j
I hope you really enjoyed your break from work, 32b3. So good you have a holiday booked in 3 weeks time, enjoy it. A shame about the jazz, though to my mind there's jazz that's awful and jazz that's lovely on the ears, we've a great trio down here that play superb jazz.
WOW...what a find in your car, Daddybear!! Excellent. :jSpiralingDown wrote: »Not been on in a while but emptied my £1 a day/£2 coin tin ready to bank in the morning, £360 to take round. I only opened it because there have been a few burglaries reported over the past few days so feel it safer to bank. Still have my shrapnel tin so will continue to save in that until November.
Xmas is nearly sorted so will be putting all my tin savings towards holiday spending money for next year.
SpiralingDown that's some truly wonderful saving that you've achieved!!! :T I don't blame you at all for banking it, better to be on the safe side. It's great to see you, don't forget to declare your entire Total on the 5th Nov.
It's so good to see you've managed to save a good bit, Hicksy! :j
Oooh, that was lucky, missjec, so pleased for you.littleDOTS wrote: »Hi to all and thanks for my number SUE. I have crafted a lovely sealed pot out of an old Nesquick milkshake tub. Nice and bright and easy to cut into. The duck tape has ruined the look though.
So far only 6p after hunting around the house!
My plan is to set budgets for food shopping and fun/luxuries and to pot the remainder as well as loose change or anything that was gained via being cash savvy like ebay sales or the difference from a voucher saving.
THANKS!!!
Great work with your pot, littleDOTS, and you stick to your budgets and you'll be doing very well.
It sounds as thought your Cousin's Wedding was the perfect day, Helen, and to bag the baby to cuddle...oooh I do envy you that! :A Great saving too by the way.
What a farce with your poor Mum in the 3 different hospitals, Selene, you all must have been worried sick. I'm pleased to hear all is well now and hope she's now ok. Good luck with your fat pot.sunshinelibra wrote: »Hi everyone
Day off today so time to remember my password an seeing how you all doing. I finding just lifting my tin an now feeling the growing weight really encouraging. Also found myself folding notes that I have put in in different shapes ..... Funny the patterns that we set up ! Or is it just me? Keep going anyway .
Hi sunshinelibra and good to see you back. NB. Please would you put your SPC No on your siggy for me? Thanks a lot.
Good saving, Chutney.....
.....you too, Kerry!!
Good thinking, Modesty! A shame to waste money while saving it.
Crikey Anna, that's excellent saving!! :j
Better luck with the £2s, Lynsey, though I suspect jakes-mum has far more than her share of the b*****s!!
Good saving, Alison, keep at it.Have a really lovely Monday, everyone, and keep filling those pots!

 No idea what your both on about
:rotfl:
Am currently very cross with myself as I forgot to stop the DD for my old gas/elec (after blumin talking about it on here! and they've just took another £100
hopefully they wont take too long with paying it all back but grrr I can't believe I did that, im normally very good with this sort of thing!)
Well DH and I have both been struck down with the lurgy, DH is currently sat next to me groaning and telling me how he feels like he's been 'hit by a bus', I am trying my darndest to not point out that this is how I feel everyday! (which on the plus side means that I am still fairly functionable as I only feel slightly worse than normal days . . . see every cloud
) it seems I have to go get him some lucozade from the shop as he's too close to deaths door to move . . currently wondering if a cattle prod will help him
As you can see, I hold a great amount of sympathy for colds, sorry I mean Man Flu :rotfl:
Hand full of shrapnel and another lovely (and very shiny) £2 coin this morning, should have more after the lucozade run
