I've not had much change lately, but have this week so just filled up.
£1 x 9
50p x 5
20p x 8
10p x 3
5p x 1
2p x 2
So £13.49
Which is my £5 aim a week for this week and last week. And only £2.51 needed to reach next weeks goal :P I can do this!No more making the same mistakes!

Scotmumof3, so happy to hear your good news. Hope they can help with the dysplasia.
.
ETA: Just looked up dysplasia, it's Barrett's Esophagus which my DH has been having tests for for years. Good luck to your DH with the endoscopy.
Hi Modesty The surgeon never mentioned Barretts Esophagus but he did say that there are a couple of treatments which include removing the damaged part and laser treatment. DH had an endoscopy a month ago and will have his next one in 6 months and they will keep evaluating him to see if he needs any treatment. They don't want to do anything at the moment because it could make it worse (scarring etc) and they said that he is at the lowest end of the scale just now but if it gets worse then they would consider treatments . They told him to join a gym and use the steam room as this can help so he is steaming over a basin at the momentSorry about your DH it is not a nice thing to have. I hope he is ok
Thanks everyone for your kindness:)
Helen I hope they find something that makes you feel better soon

A very Good Morning, everyone, What a glorious day yesterday! DH & I were so fortunate as we'd already planned to get out for the day, and we had a fantastic time in the sun with the wildlife we love. Have a good Wednesday, and anyone not be feeling well or poorly in any other way, take great care and here's hoping you will be very much better soon. For now, here are some special {{{hugs}}} to help you through. Take care, all Potters, save cash as often as you can!
Brilliant work with your copper cash, dreamingofmoney, that'll swell your savings!!
Good to see you, Anna, and well done!
Give into the addiction, Westie, as that's what it is that you've got!! :j
Fantastic new about your win, Woodster.....and for changing it into coins to save!
Don't knock "only potted £4 odd", Woodster, as if you only saved that much each week it still makes quite a difference to times like Christmas when cash is short. "Only" isn't a word used on SPC.
Ah, I see what you mean, Baby Angel, in that case he sounds like quite a canny chap for sure!! Best wishes to you both with the mortgage, and well done on the peak savings! Much better in your pot! :j
That's excellent news, scotmumof3!!! :j I just quickly googled it and can see why they will need to keep an eye on him, but even so it's still such a relief for you both to know it's not cancer! I'm truly delighted for you!!
Hi Modesty, well done with your potting. Re scotsmumof3's DH, I didn't see anything about the Barrett's Esophagus (a friend of ours has that) being connected with the throat dysplasia so will be interested to see what scotmumof3 says. All best wishes to your DH as I know the Endoscopy's aren't great to have, but are marvellous!
Excellent news for you too, Helen!! It's so good to know things are looking good - savings wise too! You're on course for a GREAT year if you're able to stick to saving as you are now!
Hi Dragon Lily, the highlighted part above is exactly what we all do after having counted up our savings. Get plenty of the plastic bags from the bank prior to Nov 5th, so you're ready to count up - and make sure you have the correct amounts per bag! If you look at a bag (anytime before) it will tell you how much of each denominations should be in a bag. Most of us take our bags to the bank/post office over a few days, that way you're not the customer everyone dreads! Though they can tell how much is in each by weighing so it's no great problem. Any problems with your bank the "spread the love" by using other banks too!! :rotfl:Also, most banks have machines that you can simply put your money into and receive the notes etc after. So, there you are, many options and much excitement to look ahead to!
Brilliant work, savings my hobby! Keep it going and - buzzing!Enjoy Wednesday, SPCers, even if it's a wet, one and save well whenever possible!
Sue x
NB: SPC Savers: 5th November will be the new 2015 opening date!

Oh my,it is nearly a month since I was here. How did that happen?
.
I have just spent some time reading the last month's worth of thread backwards (makes for some interesting reading!).Hugs for those who need them.
Well, the last of the three bedrooms to be decorated was finished last Wednesday (10 day job taking nearly 3 months).OH and I are sleeping on front room floor, the kid's bedrooms are pictures of minimalism:I am absolutely thrilled with the work [STRIKE]we[/STRIKE] I have done :j.
Because I don't have a bedroom (or wardrobe,or cupboard,or shelf,or anything else),my pots are still not very easily accessible, but I have been setting money aside especially to go in them. This morning I did dig them out to pot £25 from a FB sale earlier this week (one note in each of my 2 tins).Later today I dug my £1 coin tin out again to pot 6 coins found while decluttering a bedside table drawer that hasn't been used for about 10 years .So total of £31 for the day.Another day I will dig out the money I have been setting aside, and pot that.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
