Hi, can i be added please. I do save regular money, which will not be included, but I draw money out every fortnight for groceries etc, and what is left i put into money jars. I have a £1/£2 jar, a 10p/20p/50p jar, a 5p jar and one for coppers. I probably have about £70 in them so far, I do count it, but I will stop counting and then add them all together at the end of the year if thats ok.
Hello and welcome!
Sue will be along to give you a number soon. It sounds like you've already had a look at the first page so well done.
The £70 already collected can be added to your total at the end if you wish. You are also more than welcome to count as you pot. Some of us have spreadsheets so we know what we have, my pots count the money as it goes in. Most people do like a surprise but it's how you work best really. As long as your potting and leaving the money there then the rest is mostly up to you. It helps me to know what i have but we're all different.
If you have any questions just shout up. Everyone on here is so lovely, you'll be just fine.
I couple of squid added to my pre potting purse. Now that i've moved my pots are alllllll the way upstairs and i leave my bag alllllll the way downstairs so i have a separate purse for potting money because i'm a lazy @ss :rotfl:

I would prefer the £70 to be added. I do like to count my money - it motivates me when I see the total going up. Well happy to be a potter lol.

Evening all.
Save Dosh - welcome and good luck with your savings. I'm another "counter", it keeps me motivated and I like to set little goals along the way.
ModestyB - good luck with that MOT and hope you are as lucky as we were. Nervous times I'm sure, well it was for us!! We would have gladly got away with £100 and feel like we've won £70. lol
3 more £1 coins potted.

Evening All
Well normally I go out on a Thursday Evening....and on the way home I normally get a Kebab....but tonight I was feeling rather sickly so I didn't get a Kebab....so, with that in mind, I decided to Pot the £10 that I normally put aside for my Kebab (although it doesn't actually cost that much)....
Plus I had 4 x £1 in my Purse so I'm Potting that too
So £14 altogether tonight....Feeling rather proud of myself
Even though I'm feeling a bit rotten tonight, I am STILL feeling Positive....
Right...off to bed for me....Need my beauty sleepNight All xXx
