It's a good feeling knowing I'm saving. Not spent anything today.
Decided I'm taking £30 cash out of my account each week for petrol and day to day stuff. Whatever I have left over on a Sunday night I will pot.

Excellent forethought, Woodster76!!!! :j Your first sentence above is so inspirational, stay strong with your plans and you'll be ecstatic next November 5th!!!!!

Your Target's done, savingbabs! Best wishes in achieving it. :D:D

  • Hello everyone
My DD (10) had a stall at her school fair this evening selling some old toys, DVDs and home made biscuits.

We had a deal that we would split some of the profits as I bought the ingredients and helped with the baking so that's £7.05 for the pot!

My pot will be going towards our holiday fund so she was happy for it to go to such a good cause...
  • Happy December everyone x

  • Went to do some serious christmas shopping today.

I realised I tend to pay with notes everywhere and by the time I had gotten home my jeans were weighed down with change. My pot was very happy. 2 £2 coins. 4 £1 coins and a bit of silver and copper. Happy days. :)

As for the roadkill I don't know how some of you do it, I guess MSE in general has just taught me to keep my eyes open to more but I've not a chance I walked around staring at the floor and saw nothing :(
  • Evening Potters..

Been a bit up and down the last few days....my eldest son had a swimming competition on Saturday and got 2 first places and a third in his heats! Then today in PE he managed to break his toe!! The only good thing about that is that when we went to leave A&E, the barrier on the car park was raised so I didn't have to pay for parking... The £6!!!! I saved has gone into the pot.

Thank you for my lovely new star Sue-UU but its been so long since I've been on here I cant remember how to add it to my siggy?
Mind you, I cant do the smiley faces etc either...must try harder!

Its lovely to be back and catching up with everyone
