I've got a few bits put aside already which is looking nice, but I'll leave it to November again.......... unfortunately no '88 £1's yet, but the £1 stash for the boys is looking healthy already, and at this rate they'll probably have more to spend than me in the '83 pot! lol

Unfortunately work has gotten in the way as usual and I've not had much time to get back onto here!
Decided job hunting is the answer now.....lets hope something pop's up, I'm not sure this mad house is all screwed together right! :rotfl:

50p potted today (ish). DH is getting in on the act too and informed me that he has been potting some secretly too :j.

Sue, the girl i goes to dyes the eyebrows first then waxed after this. The dye only ever went on the hair - skin behind was never dyed. I do tend to go, lie down and relax while she gets on with it (apart from the odd grimace during the actual waxing) so just let her get on with it. Definitely look better dyed but at double the price had to knock on the head!

LoL Sue...I have been to Germany....the last time was Munich and I LOVED it...Such a beautiful place....But I have no plans to go back I'm afraid....


And, would I EVER bunk off and leave without you Guys? Of course not!! LoL


Have had a rough couple of days....Just motivation-wise I am struggling a lot....not sure what is going on really....Might be the weather or the fact that I haven't heard from the Hospital...who knows!! But I'm sure I'll get there....Just got to keep on moving forwards...


Am Potting £3.75 this morning....Well at least the Pot is getting fed....that's ALWAYS a good thing

I've just come across this - I'm currently off work recovering from surgery so have no cash at all at the moment! But when I have some I'd like to start. I put small change in a charity box so will perhaps try and pop in the 50p, £1 and £2 coins at the end of each day.

Please can I have a number?

What operation are you recovering from? I have just finished one recovery and now I'm onto my second one.

Just popped £5 into my terrimundi pot, I got it from change from my shopping, well I asked for it, when buying a scratch card hope that's mot cheating

Yes, Westie, the contents of your £2 coin pot can indeed be included with your SPC Total too in November, now look what you have to look forward to! That Parsnip soup was absolutely gorgeous, scotmumof3, very many thanks for yet another recipe, DH is going to try Lynsey's DH's idea of roasting the parsnips first next time to see the difference. We love them in a roast, now we'll see about soup. Thanks again. :kisses3:

Good luck with the job hunting and I hope you find something you enjoy. Not quite sure of the 88 £1s and 83 pot?? Or are the 88 £1s more valuable perhaps like the 20p ones were at one time? Fantastic news about your DH, chasingthedream, it's so much better when you're both working towards saving!!!! All the dying and waxing lark sounds weird to me; almost as if she dyes it then *deletes" it all!! Ahhh...or do they then grow back blonde, green, sky blue pink or whatever?? I might be getting it, d'you think?
