Think I'm going to stuggle with the challenges I have but they are all for different coin denominations or small change....
A very warm welcome, Westie983. It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Enjoy yourself saving, posting and joining in the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 2nd post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 5th Nov.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
Westie983 - please note that instead of giving you the following No on the list I've given you No 097 I'm sure that member would have returned by now, and if she does, invent a new one.BTW, just in case you save any £2 coins in that particular Challenge here on MSE, you're welcome to include those in SPC too!
A £5er's excellent, Rosy, well done! BTW, many thanks for the welcome and here's your gold star. :staradminlittle_sweetie wrote: »[/CENTER]I definitely intend to try, dear friend
I have discovered, however, that my smilies will not work! I can only get a simple smiley face if I type a colon and a bracket. Clicking on them will no longer work. What's going on?? Have I been banished??
Sorry to hear about DD's family...there are a lot of bugs out there
Wonderful news, little_sweetie!!! :j Re your smilies...I reckon they thought you'd abandoned them and are making a protest. Fingers crossed they'll be nice to you from here on though they may give you a few of these:p:p:p:p DD's family all had a good night last night, a lot to be said there after the day and night before. She said it's air borne I told her to keep out of their ruddy garden then in case she passes it to us!! :rotfl:
Sue - sorry you missed out on the "low calorie - if eaten slowly chocolate", but you are in luck.
Believe it or not (not of course), but Lidl have another half-priced chocolate offer this weekend (sat and sun only) and it's the truffles for only 99p. These are supposed to enhance "hour-glass" figures - but you have to eat several boxes over the weekend.
I could say summat so rude to you, Lynsey, but as I'm not that type I won't.I daren't touch chocolate or I'd be addicted to the blessed stuff. At Christmas I indulge, but only a littleish.
Sue, DD is a lot better thank you. She's enjoying a week's holiday at home before starting work next week. Hope your family get better soon.
A question: I have been given a 1st world war £2 coin in my change. Have they been circulated or has somebody spent it by mistake? If circulated it will go in my pot. If not I'll put it up for DGS. TIA.
I'm pleased she's doing well again now, Modesty. Re your £2 coin, I've not heard of any been issued so I'd put it by for DGS, it may be worth a fortune one day.
Good to see you, Observer, and well done with the saving.scotmumof3 wrote:Thank you for my star sue:)
Ah...but you never got one, scotmumof3, as I forgot to put it on!! I do apologise, but here it is :staradmin so now you can pop it on your siggy with pride.Woodster76 wrote:£2 x 2 potted today. I just didn't want to spend them. :T
There you are you see, Woodster, yesterday you had nothing, but now 2 of those little beauties!! I do love those coins. :j
Brilliant saving, Daddybear, no wonder you're feeling so chuffed!!! :dance:Thank You for your encouragement Sue, you're a diamond...I would love to take you all to Paris...you are ALL welcome to come with me!!
Oh thank goodness for that, Helen, I was quite concerned that you'd just bunk off without us, and here's me learning French and I thought it might all be in vane! So, when are you going to Germany as I'm studying that too!!Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday, folks! :j Keep safe, healthy and saving hard!!
