So far not too bad here for the white stuff - seem to have had just the odd sprinkle most days and then melted in the sunshine except where frozen in the odd corners :) Actually been really sunny every day this week for a change - though it's still biting cold.

Staying in the warm today and getting all the chores finished before the week-end. Just finishing the third lot of washing in the TD, then a :coffee: and I'm going to have a long, luxurious bubble-bath .... bliss.... before finishing the potato, leek and chicken soup that's been simmering in the slow cooker for our tea.

Although it's an NSD :) it's also Friday so £7 for the pot today :j

Hope you all staying warm and dry and have a great weekend

Just potted a £1 coin as I haven't been out spending.

Had a scare this morning, DGS phoned in a panic for DH to take DD to hospital. She was rolling about in agony! I was so scared in case she was having another heart attack, she had one when she was 24, or that her bloodclots had come back. Luckily, although VERY painful, it was a kidney stone being passed.

She's still in pain but at least she's home. (phew!)

    Helen, hope you're feeling better.

    Hugs to all in need.

    Thanks

That didn't go well - send my 20 year old relative out with £3 to get 4 pints of milk and a newspaper costing 60p - she dropped them back before rushing to catch a bus with just 10 change. Said that is what the assistant at the co-op gave her. She said 4 pints cost £1.40 something and paper 60p?? Could see she looked confused as she said that. She had no receipt and dashed off.

I only sent her because she finished most of the milk yesterday and I only let her have that if she agreed to go and get some more today.
