  • Popped €1 into my pot yesterday.. Heading out for lunch later on a 2 for 1 deal at our local restaurant!

Other than that, all has been quiet here, 2 weeks until pay day! It can't come fast enough!

    Morning Lords and Ladies :D

Just a simple good morning from myself. lol
    (keep up that great potting)

Not a great nights sleep here with the winds!! Hope not too many are affected, but at least we have our power supplies here.

Potted 3 x £1 coins and need a few things later, so more to pot I'd imagine.
    Have a great weekend.

Thanks everyone for such a warm welcome.

It's going to be a spendy weekend for us. Youngest needs supplies as he's going back to Uni and it's M.I.L's birthday.

Found .20p in washing machine yesterday and .30p change so another .50p added to pot.

    I like this challenge :)

  • Morning all, didnt log on last night but potted £1.98ish in change. Big pile of change but DD1 counted it so cant say for sure.

Very windy here today, nearly blew me and the dog over in the garden lol.

Off out with friends for lunch and out with other friends tonight for a curry so a bit spendy today, although I paid last week for lunch so may not have to pay today.

Have a great day and stay safe out of the wind everyone

    Another £2.64 added today :)
I need to find a bigger pot for my 2ps and 1ps as its almost full.
I remember my Mum used to have a huge whisky bottle and one of those wide glass bottles used for home brewing, and she used to use those to save her money.
I might look in Wilko for the home brewing bottle:

Ah, I found it here http://www.wilko.com/homebrew-accessories+equipment/wilko-demijohn-container-glass-45l/invt/0022556 but its too expensive really. I don't see the point of spending money just to save it. So old coffee jars it is! I'll just have to use more of them :)
