Frogletina wrote: »Thanks everyone for your concern over my ring. It wasn't very expensive but one I do like to wear from time to time.
I wasn't able to speak to my relative today as she was asleep most of the day and then I was out for a few hours and she went out during that time. I won't see her now until tomorrow but I will check her room before she returns just in case it's in there.
Any expensive jewellery (not that I have much) is hidden away and has been since I had a burglary at my previous address.
I have found my ring :j
I just looked in her room and was about to come out when I saw it just laying on her bed! This makes discussing it with her easier. I will just ask her what it was doing on her bed, she won't know I noticed it missing earlier.
Apart from when her friend was here, nothing has ever gone missing although she does tend to 'borrow' my clothes.

I'm so pleased you've got your ring back. I hope your friend just admits to taking/ borrowing it. It really isn't acceptable to behave like that toward someone else's things.
I hope you get some answers from her, but I guess you won't be able to have much trust in her now.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

I don't think she would have intended to deprive me of it permanently, there was no attempt to hide it and she knows I do go into her room to tidy up from time to time and to get things out of the wardrobe.

Evening all or good morning, didnt realise the time
Well found 30p on the floor of the conservatory so finders keeper in my book. Didnt go to friends for the weigh in but did weigh in this morning at home. About 3lb on over the festive period so not too bad. I have potted my £5 which hopefully encourage me to lose the weight as it is costing me lol!
With regards to the £2 coin, mine is not the double coloured kind it is the same colour as the £1 coin (not sure whether they went out of legal tender when the double coloured one came out. Tried to use it in a self service till but it rejected it!
Have a good Thurs everyone and hope the weather is ok tomorrow as forcast bad weather and high winds over the next few days. We are in the North West but think it will be higher up the country so may just miss it. Keep safe everyone as could go up to 100mph in Scotland.

Morning Guys and Gals....
Thank You for your lovely Words Sue....It's been a couple of days now and I'm still feeling positive....so I'm hoping the worst is over for now....Still feeling a bit sickly every now and again but I can cope with that and have started drinking milk to line my stomach, which seems to be helping...so that's good
I'm not sure why but I seem to have more money at the moment....so last night I Potted a MASSIVE £12.70!!I was so thrilled with that...and definitely won't need it as I'm not eating much at the moment and I still have a bit of Shopping Money left over....so I know it will be fine....I have everything else that I need to spend this Week accounted for in my Purse...so I'm really pleased
I'm glad that you found your Ring Frogletina....I hope the person concerned has a reasonable explanation!!
Right...going to grab a bite to eat and then do some Work...I have a much lighter day today....Just Work from home today until about 4pm....and then head into Town for one of my other Works....
Also got paid today from my Work-from-home Job...so that was good
*Hugs* to anyone that needs them....and Welcome to the Newbies...0 -
Thanks Sue-UU. The 5th is in the diary and number 72 on the signature.
Happy saving! xMSE-ing since 20070 -
