SF's less than fourteen days from her due date Tara, so it could be any time! I look in each day expecting a HUGE announcement. I think of her and her baby often and am convinced she, her husband and baby are going to have a truly joyous life together.
What an absolutely lovely thing to say :):o

All the very best, slowlyfading. Can't wait to hear the news.

Have just started a new job after being made redundant from the last one. We successfully navigated our way through the financial crisis only to bomb out in 2015! In hindsight that was a blessing as I managed to get a job very quickly. I do miss my colleagues. We worked together for almost 10 years and were close friends.

I have a redundancy package but will not add this into my total as it will be used in the next couple of months. I now only get paid on the last day of the month so will declare savings for the month tomorrow.

All the best and happy saving,

Just declaring £1000 for July keeping me on target plus a further £380 for the emergency reserve fund which I am not including in my saving total. The breakdown is £500 into a nationwide regular saving isa for my new car next year, £250 into my stocks and shares isa and £250 into my Santander 123 account along with the reserve fund.

Will be eagerly anticipating your news SF! My daughter is expecting our first grandchild in two months time so we are also getting very excited.

July payday, saved £1,175 this month including £250 into my Regular Saver £800 into the savings account and £125 into my ISA.

We renewed both car insurances last month and had our holiday in Tenerife which was really good and great to see how much further our money went when you get a rate of 1.39 euros to sterling compared to almost 1 for 1 at the height of the crash 5-6 years ago.

Nothing much planned for this August so should be a steady month, Mrs MM is wanting to go kitchen shopping tomorrow but at least we have the money set aside and growing slowly.
