I'm either getting paid tomorrow or Thursday, depending on when the boss remembers!

I don't think any more is going to come in so I am declaring £1232.66 for July, which is considerably better than I was expecting. I've done the update form, hopefully correctly ha ha

My super budget plan starts 1st August, bit nervous about sticking to it but I just have to think about the savings at the end of it. Savings, and not just debt repayments, I can't wait x

  • I'm changing my target to £8,000 from £10,000 (though I was really hoping for £12,000). I've had a really expensive couple of months - decorating inside and out, new carpet in 3 rooms, some new furniture and £2,500 on a dental implant and new crown  . At least it's all done now and the house and teeth are looking nice :D:D.

I will make it up next year - 20 grand over 2 years.

Because I've been spending, I haven't been on this board much recently. I've found without it, it is so easy to fall of the savings wagon ("what's another 50 quid, when I've just spent 2 grand?"). So from next month I shall be reading all your encouraging postings and being tough on myself!

Payday at last!!! I've been more impatient than usual since I was close to a big milestone. :D

So... I saved a nice round £500 in July. I've saved £5,644 so far in 2015, and £90,483 in total.

I'm finally over the £90k mark!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!

SF's less than fourteen days from her due date Tara, so it could be any time! I look in each day expecting a HUGE announcement. I think of her and her baby often and am convinced she, her husband and baby are going to have a truly joyous life together.

    I haven't been around for a while-real life getting in the way-but I'm declaring a whopping £3817.66 for July!

I've shattered my target of £5000 but I'm just going to keep on saving. I'm going to put some effort to coming on here a bit more often too.

    Everyone is doing amazingly.

    Hi all,

#226 declaring £1250.00 saving for July.

Would have been a bit more but I've got the rest of my hols to pay for in few days.

I've filled in the form also.

    Many thanks

    Kev
