#76 reporting £500 savings for June. As I have reached my target, I have increased this to £4000 for the year.
I have been absent for a while.. I went to the Isle of Wight for a couple of weeks and whilst I was there... my laptop would not connect to the
internet...shock... horror... but now I am home my laptop is fine and I can catch up on all the posts I have missed.#76 Save £12k in 2015 challenge

Hi
Just advised slowly fading that sadly the collapse of Wales agricultural commodity prices means I will be required to draw from any available savings to keep our farm. My priorities have dramatically changed.
Thank you for all the encouragement and support. I will be back in a few years when things I hope improve.
Thank you once again.
Wishing you all the luck in the world£2 savers club #33

Hoping you all get to your targets0 -
Hi everyone
My figure for July is a grand total of................... £0
I cant remember the last time where I have saved nothing
I did have £1,240 left over to save but my Barclaycard bill for this month was £1,223 (I hate car insurance renewal month!)
So I did the sensible thing (I think) and have paid it off in full to avoid paying interest.
Back on the wagon for next month0 -
I can see the spreadsheet SF and it is looking good. I am impatient really for payday so I can work out how much we have saved. So far on my spending tracker though it is saying we have spent £1462 in July and our usual income which does not come until 25th and 27th of the month is £3500 approx. so hopefully should be able to save a fair chunk. I have a week in London at the end of this month though treating my mum to tickets to Matilda in the West End for her 80th birthday.
I have taken on board advice about not checking my s and s isa and have not looked at it since the end of last month which is probably quite good considering the state of the markets at the moment as it may freak me out. I am determined not to sell though.
Plans for our savings now are £250 monthly into my Vanguard LS 60 fund, £500 into a Nationwide reg saver isa for a new car next year and £250 plus reserve in the Santander 123 which is up at £18k so almost full. That is our emergency fund.
On an irritating note I have just synced my spending tracker on my phone and ipad and it seems to have duplicated loads of entries and left out others. Might go back to my spreadsheets!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
