What counts and what doesn't. Is it only extra income (like surveys, roadkill or interest on accounts) or is it anything (10p off a chocolate bar and saving £2 on your shopping cos you used a loyalty card).?
Ok so that was two questions but I'd love to know what you count and what you don't?Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Please, can everyone, although feel free to update the thread during the month, send/post their final numbers of each month towards the end of the month? That way it doesn't get too confusing

Will throw my cap into this if I may. Aim is for 12k as having just moved house and wiped out savings completely so the aim is to do this as well as pay for some of the decoration we need to do.2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0

Hi,
Can you put me down for £6,000 this year.
This is my first year on the challenge. I have all manner of investments which I could include in this but it would get complicated as they are very volatile. I have been living without an emergency fund for the last few years and, although things at work are fairly buoyant at the moment, I would feel happier knowing I had some rainy day money set aside for emergencies. So, I'm aiming for a simple pay yourself first £500 a month strategy.Save £6k in 2015 - Jan £5000 -

I've just applied via the spreadsheet - I have a goal of 6k for 2015. Eek!0

Please put me down for £6k in 2015
We've got some house renovations needed next year but hopefully £6k should be do-able.0 -
Could I join please?
Started off this year with £2k in savings and will end on £11.5k
Not sure if we can save as much next year, but would like to aim for £5k please.
Thanks J0
