Currently ( forgive the pun) charging batteries. Sorted out emergency lighting,and put it in place,just in case we get brown/ blackouts.8

having my smart meter fitted today, so had a bit of a practice run. I have a solar light that is kept in the sunniest window to be charged up. I always use a flask for hot water from the kettle. and the phone charger bank is always kept powered up.
Also trying out a homemade version of a haybox with some soup in.. I know my power will only be off for 2 hours but it's good to check how things are working.today's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.
