To be honest, I think the DWP (and the HMRC) are trying to cut their costs down to te bone so that they offer no level of worhwhile service at all.
(I believe is the HMRC that manage the Universal Credit system rather than the DWP - although I could be wrong on this. It hasn;t started in East Anglia yet.0 -

We'll just have to agree to disagree but something my tells me that won't be enough for you.
PS I'm still not wrong0 -
I did but you chose to twist my words for your own motives. Not my fault you don't understand. Oh balls, there we go round in circles again!!

Whatever - this is a pointless merry-go-round.
You twisted Mac's words and I may then have twisted yours in response to this. But you won;t point out how I may have twisted your words! Typical woman - I assume you are female as you argue like a female. Assuming everyone is a mindreader. About as direct as a journey between Lands End and John of Groats, via New York.
Anyway - I'm out.0 -

Is it possible for someone to stay on unemployment UC and not get sanctioned for a long time?
say if the job hunter did indeed meet all their requirements? Or do they make them so hard, or cheat somehow like saying they sent a letter for an intervie when they didnt, so they could forse sanctions somehow?0 -
most job applications are done online now so that wouldnt really be relevant
i have a freind that was made redundant about 6 weeks ago and he has been put on the jobseekers commitment instead of the old job seekers agreement.
he has no problem meeting the 35 hours a week 'job hunting' in fact he regularly goes well over this amount of time per week

How do you prove that?0 -
As far as I'm aware the site ius linked to the job center so the amount you log on and look isshiwn to jobcentrestaffChances are I'm in this thread asking questions as I love to learn new stuff. (Did you know all polar bears are left handed?)0

You can't.
Neither can the jobcentre prove you haven't.
You don;t just use one website when searching for jobs. Indeed you don't need to do all of your jobsearch online.0
