You are right! Someone at work explained it wrong to me, I've just looked it up and it'll work out cheaper
Thanks Dawn
Just remembered, had a statement from Next from which I haven't ordered in months saying they're charging me £3.75 for an autumn catalog??? What? For one, I haven't received it, I also haven't asked for it either so I'm going to call them tomorrow, they're not taking that money from my bank!0 -

Hello Diary
Not much to report today, one working week left before the big breakthings are looking good.
All presents were bought by the end of September and packed away in the suitcase so only clothes and toiletries to pack :j
Had a little bust up with a colleague today. Has anyone ever worked with someone that is so very negative all the time? Swearing, banging things, raising voice, just sitting there with a face on you, it goes on... For someone like me that always tries to stay positive and consider other people in my environment, it's hard to deal with though it's mostly ignored as much as possible. I think it brings the level down straight away and it's pretty much constant. I think I'll need to speak to my FD about it. Not sure what he can do, a great guy and I'm sure he'll try but it's a difficult position for him to be in too. I just believe negative emotions should not be taken out onto other people and kept to yourself and dealt with away from work. Whether you're depressed, unhappy with your job or life in general it's nobody else's fault. Hmm.. rock the boat or not?.. I think I'll have to speak up, it's the right thing to do and nobody else will.
On a nicer noteI've been writing a list of business ideas as soon as I think of one, looking what it'll amount to in the end and how viable they are. I'm on my way... :T

Hellooooo diary :j
I've got a confession to make... today has been a mighty spendy dayWent to a walk-in clinic due to my tonsillitis getting worse, had to stay there for almost 3 hrs to be seen and in the end they told me I needed to go see my GP and gave me no medicine  By the end of the visit DS was so hungry we went to the nearest place for a bite to eat which happened to be Panama Hattys, nice food but not worth the £30 we spent. DS gets so terribly hungry! He must be having a growth spurt. Anywho, what's done is done.
Then put in a full tank of petrol for £45 in preparation to driving to the airport next week and went to M&S and got some yummy belgian chocolate. So that's £80 gone...argh
Sooooo... A big treat day today, all came from a budget apart from the meal which means our food budget will have to suffer a bit but we're off to my mum's in a week so the last 10 days of December will all be NSDs.
Was feeling fairly ill last night but much better tonight, hope this bloody tonsillitis goes away and leaves me be  Looking forward to over 2 weeks off soon, I need some rest and relaxation :A
Hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday

OK, so this month universe does not want me to save
My mum let it slip that she's had an eye on my Vivienne Westwood purse for over a year but doesn't have the funds to buy it. She never gets herself anything and has hardly any money left over every month. Broke my heart so I went ahead and purchased that for her as a christmas present, £130But I know how much she'll love it and it'll be the best present ever to her and she absolutely deserves it.
And my savings... well, there will definitely be some this month but not quite as much as last but such is life :beer:0 -
So apart from mum's present today I did half a week's shopping for £25.
We then made wheat free pasta macaroni cheese, oh my it was delicious :T I might have had a tad too muchand DS approved too. A portion left for tomorrow's dinner. Made chilli con carne for 3-4 work lunches too. Done 3 loads of washing and cleaned the apartment from top to bottom, DS did the windows - his favourite job
Can't wait to go to mum's and decorate the Christmas treeand for everyone to open their presents and for the meal and Home Alone after :rotfl:
Thoughtful Sunday everyone
