No NSD here but don't feel too bad, got free xmas cards and choc coins thanks to O2, picked up a few bits in 99p store (well £9 worth  but it was needed stuff like cat treats, some of those knorr stock pots to try - sure they're overpriced oxo cubes but at 99p worth a go, foil to wrap my turkey in should i fancy one this month an a few other bits)
Got a list of some stuff to get tomorrow but hoping for a quiet weekend after the recent madness.

:hello: Evening all xxx
Well my plans changed on Monday as I was feeling a bit poorly so I didn't get to London; despite the fact I was going to buy all my tickets on Saturday I actually felt too knackered to do it so planned on picking them up on Monday as it would have been spendy anyway but as I didn't go I didn't so Monday was number 1 :j
I also did some jiggery pokery with the ticket I had for the show I was going to on Tuesday and swapped it with a friend who had one for next Tuesday so I didn't lose out on not going yesterday. I did spend a little though as I met up with my friend to swap tickets and got her a coffee while we were in town.
Today (Wednesday) I made my second one so I am signing in with number 2.
Has been a bit mad here at work tonight; none of them seem to be sleeping...........I think they have all been eating too much chocolate or something.....
Back tomorrow xx

Can I join in, please ?? This thread looks fun and fits in with the Grocery Challenge!
I would like to start with a target of 10 NSDs and 3 in a row.First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -
Aloofdragon and kerri - into the naughty corner with you! You both let the x word slip from your (lips? Keyboards?) And it is a contraction of the c word so brace yourselves, Shawn the Shark is on his way........Now if you can think fast of a clever alternative way to describe the festival which shall not be named, Shawn might let you off.......
Igor, stop moaning! I know the locals gave you a hard time when you nicked their cauldron, but it was your own fault for mis-programming the satnav to bring us to an island where "having guests for dinner" takes on a whole new meaning......One life - your life - live it!0 -
Pull up a pineapple, Happygreen, and slap on the factor 50, marmite will add you to the list. Just remember, as the tropical theme was marmite's idea to give us all some respite from the seasonal nonsense, the C and X words are banned (as in Merry C or Happy X). Marmite has this pet shark who will have serious words with anyone who misbehaves in this fashion. We can still mention our preparations etc for Thingymas when reporting our NSDs but need to use an alternative word or phrase.....prizes will be awarded for the best. One life - your life - live it!0

NSD 2 for me yesterday!! :j
Unfortunately I need the next couple of days will be spendy as I need to get a couple of vouchers for shopping-mas present, a new shirt for my curry-mas night out tomorrow night and possibly some new boots to stop me slipping over on my way to work!
Have you any idea how difficult it is to find smart (to wear with work trousers) black mens boots with a decent rubber sole these days? They're all either suede, leather soled or brown.
God I feel old!! Apologies for the rant, obviously had too much of Igor's Lemongrass & Brussel Sprout Martini last night...sprouts always make me cranky. :mad:0
