NSD 3
Another one on the list for a visit from Shawn the Shark.....One life - your life - live it!0 -
Is there a cocktail of the day? Or are we into happy hour? Anything that'll help me feel warmer!
No NSD for me today... And not one tomorrow either. I have to drive to the next town for a training session with work so I thought I'd save petrol and do some shopping while I'm there.
Then in the evening it's DHs works night out that happens to be taking place in December to coincide with the run up to some festival or other? Anyway, the taxi itself will cost 6 fortunes never mind the drinks but I genuinely can't remember the last time we we're see in public together without the kids so I don't care!
Hoping for a no-spend weekend instead... Fingers crossed
I was dishing out Painkillers earlier - so if you want one the Cabana Boy is dishing them out in the surfside barMust use my stash up!0 -

Igor, stop moaning! I know the locals gave you a hard time when you nicked their cauldron, but it was your own fault for mis-programming the satnav to bring us to an island where "having guests for dinner" takes on a whole new meaning......
 whoops, sorry, got over excited by the freebie
No NSD here, in fact in the past couple of days i've spent a small fortune on little bits and pieces (most actually needed) which all added up - like ribbon for random Dec gifts, posting random gifts to Oz, toothpaste, gift bags (well just the one - a Frozen one for a Frozen dress for OH GodD), a few bits of food on offer (including cloves to make HM baked beans tomorrow) ... the list goes on. Felt good though - almost as if I was un-cluttering my mental shopping list IYKWIM?
Hoping for a quiet weekend though, topped up our shopping card (OH gets 5% off) to go pick up a few bits that we can't get in L!dl so might do that.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Well today was indeed NSD # 2 :j:j Work all day then collected little man from my mums, dinner was cooked last night so just had to warm it up, then once monkey is in bed I can't leave the house.
Spend day tomorrow, but should only be spending on items for the 'festival of gift giving' that is approaching. So will be hoping to claim number 3 if no unnecessary spends crop up.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

Apparently brussels sprouts are the new superfood...even our beloved Swedish Chef is in on it and adding his very own take with da trusty 'boom-boom'...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: An interesting combination...
Shawn the Shark is also on his holibobs,so has sent round his cousin Vinnie to scare you all into submission ie no c words!
Take heed,Vinnie is always in a bad mood and has brought reinforcements in the shape of Basher and Arnie!0 -

Hi folks...you mad lot!
Sorry that I'm not around so much to update. The last month or so has been taken up with finding a new flat, not getting the one that I want and the search for another.Anyway,I found a place just to my liking and am now up to my eyeballs in boxes, books, clothes etc.I'll get the keys on Monday and the big move is a week later.
I'll try and update tomorrow.

Very pleased with myself. A couple of spendy days coming up but aiming for Sunday to be NSD #3. Frugal Festive Fiscal Financial transactions don't count as long as they're in budget!

:hello: Hi there all xx
Coming in to say I have managed number 3 :j. I have got to sort out some electric towards the end of the week and have a plan for my tickets to London next week.
Looking forward (is that the right phrase ) to the aqua aerobics shennanigans............hopefully they will start early enough as I finish at nine but failing that I will have to catch up later in the afternoon; I've got breakfast at a friend's when I finish on Sunday morning and then we need to go to see another couple of people at lunchtime but I should be home by the afternoon; and after a night shift and all that socialising I will probably need a stiff cocktail or two..............may need painkillers before a brussel sprout special but we shall see
Must dash; people getting up
