    Hello Everyone,
Do you mind if I pull up a sun lounger and join you?
I dipped my toe in the water last month and tried some NSDs and I'm ready to give a full month a go!
I'd like to try for 10 please..... Managed the first one today by NOT taking my purse with me while waiting for DS during his dance lesson so I didn't buy anything out of boredom.
    Thanks!

    nsd #1 today

Popped into Lidl to get milk, realised I had left my bag at home, so milk with the £1 I had in my pocket and stock cubes from the £1 I found in the car park and that was my lot. Really brought it home to me how some people struggle with the cost of food shopping.

Been wrapping speasonal gifts tonight, actually reminded me that I hate wrapping, I like it perfect and mine never is (by my standards) which frustrates me. Also gives me back ache sitting on the floor like that for so long. Still Mog had a whale of a time 'helping' :rotfl:

    Pause for thought indeed.

I also hate wrapping presents. It always looks badly done.
My wee kittie loves to help me put the duvet cover on,mostly by running round in cirles on the duvet like a mad thing.
    I'm here......I'm here :j.Wait for meeeeeeee!!!!!!

    I am aiming for 11 NSD's this month.Haven't started -hr--tm-s shopping yet ,so I guess,with 4 children,better get a wriggle on with that :D.
Well,I think today was NSD#1,since I gave OH a few pounds to buy bread and milk (allowable spends) with.If he snuck in some biscuits/chocs etc,he hasn't been sharing!!!!!!

Hi there!Igor's just passed me a large rum and coke for you. :D
A tropical paradise. White hot sand, gently waving palm trees, an ultramarine sea. The stillness of the horizon is shattered by the appearance of fast-moving figures heading for the shore. As they approach one can see a small, slightly twisted figure on a motorised surfboard. He carries an old briefcase containing his prized collection of sharp and shiny chefs knives, and a rucksack containing his recipe books, including the latest edition of Mrs Beeton and The Two Fat Hairy Naked Biker Ladies do Sushi. He also wears a harness to pull along another surfboard, upon which stands proudly an aristocratic female wearing swimsuit, huge sunglasses and a purple chiffon sarong which co-ordinates with her purple wellies.

The figure in front is not happy.

Stylish as ever I see. :D

Poor Igor.He never seems to get much time off to relax.Hope springs eternal though, and stashed away in a corner of his rucksack is his most recently purchased item of clothing - a pair of lime green and bright yellows swimming trunks.Hubert's very mischevious sister Lottie told him that he looked like Daniel Craig/James Bond emerging moodily and pouting from the surf.Since Igor has a very particular and peculiar crab-like walk (I told him to get his toe nails cut months ago!),this seems unlikely.

The ladies will be disappointed. :(

Hi Iolanthe and welcome! What would you like to drink?

  • I ended up doing the food shopping yesterday so was a spend day, today however was NSD # 1 :D:D

Have just made dinner for tomorrow night as working tomorrow, so no need to pop to the shops, so hoping for another.
