Since Yodel are reading I'll say thanks for leaving my parcel with my neighbour on Tuesday. Now why can they not do this every time? Its so frustrating when they attempt delivery whilst we're working then they try 2 more times on the next days at the same time, the time we're in work. However on Tuesday I was pleasantly surprised that the driver used his common sense

Royal Mail should also leave with neighbours instead of giving me the inconvenience of having to traipse to the post office for my parcel after I've paid their extortionate costs for them to deliver it to me

when I get a missed delivery with royal mail, I get the option to arrange delivery day on line. or to another address ln my area.
    free to your own address
    • free to another address in your postcode area
    • or for a small fee - to your local Post Office® branch.

    I think that's a good service

I like the toilet seat message, I want one :p I have a laminated A4 sign above the toilet saying to put the lid down. It's not just about the germs that fly out when its flushed, it's also bad feng shui to leave the toilet lid up as all your money will go down the toilet, not literally but it means you'll have to keep spending so be skint :D

We are reading off the same page E it is so bad feng shui and I practice that also;).I am amazed at the amount of people who don't close the lid :eek:and it's not always the men;)it is a particular pet hate of mine.
me too for doing feng shui. Having a toilet seat up symbolises flushing away, including your dosh. I even have a three legged frog statue in my hallway as you enter the house, with a lucky coin in it's mouth. Love feng shui:T

    Hi Everyone :)

Well we now have heating and hot water :T:T Only took 5 mins to mend boiler - just a reset switch inside.

Can anyone recommend a good toaster please. Our very old one went up, literally, in flames! I bought one from Lidl but I've just arranged wth customer services to return it as it takes ages to toast, hardly browns and makes the toast really hard.

DH likes almost burnt toast but I like it soft so the butter melts into it. Did have a 4 slice but think in our fairly small kitchen a 2 slice would be better.

Of course, I don't want to spend too much ;)

You need to get in touch with the manufacturer about this. You have no redress against the seller as you bought it on (an unregulated) FB page. there is no such thing as a non-transferable warranty. Things are sold as fit for purpose or not, regardless of the owner! If the product is faulty you should complain to the manufacturer in your case. You could complain to the original seller but they are unlikely to entertain you if you weren't the original buyer. They'd likely want receipts and the like. Hope you can sort it out
fc thanks for the response have got back in touch via fb which i had already posted on, will c what they say.
