ooh i love this. i always say that is why Jesus wandered around the desert for 40 days and 40 nights - he wouldn't ask for directions:p:rotfl:
    Morning All

If anyone has any present suggestions for the rather specific category of 'Retired fathers who are grumpy gits, have no hobbies, and say they don't want/need anything, but would secretly be disappointed if they don't get to unwrap anything, oh, and I also need to be able to carry it on a plane so nothing too heavy/flammable/etc.' :wall:

If I don't come up with something soon I'll be wrapping a cardboard box with a note inside saying 'well, you said you didnt want anything' :rotfl:
I have a suggestion. My dad is the same (but not grumpy :D). I bought him a ball of "Nothing" a few years back.. it really tickled him :rotfl:

Excellent service yet again from QC - another tracked item hadn't been paid by the date indicated/expected (not even a guaranteed payment merchant), another that they have said they will pay straightaway and they will then continue to chase for payment.

This is in stark contrast to TCB who generally leave you waiting and chasing them, reply with stock answers and over a year later you can still be chasing. They also annoy me that you submit a cashback claim if not tracked, they then may chase until it gets tracked/confirmed (normally progress made if you keep chasing, not just leave it) - if it doesn't go to payable, you follow up again on the same cashback claim - only for them to send you a link and them tell you you need to submit another query to what must be another department as they only deal with untracked  Go figure - why should I need to explain the issue again, surely their system could continue to chase the payment or transfer the claim to that department? I have had a number of transactions denied or not tracked on TCB even though they are legitimate (transaction attributed to another referrer when I have only been from them to the site).

I may move the majority of my cashback activities back to QC as it seems that you are almost guaranteed to get paid and this pay now, them continue to chase approach rather than leaving you waiting and the Live Chat are starting to swing it back to them. 1% extra cashback is only valuable if you actually get paid, and the hassle has increased significantly over the past year - 1% isn't much for most transactions.
