    Good morning all...
Good morning Tiny...sorry to dissapoint but coco bought nothing home last night...in a way I'm quite sad I was loving the gifts!

I've booked myself on the T evening ...do you think I could class it as a "christmas party"....its the closest I'm going to get to one this year.

OH returned from scotland last night with a haggis...no cooking instructions...but think I will just bake it for tonight and see what happens...unless anyone wants to give be some advice...
It seems to be in a skin an I'm unsure if its plastic so again unsure if I should remove it before cooking.
Where are my scottish elite to advise when I need them?

I have to make chocolate truffles for 6th form for tomorrow...apparently they are tiring of cake...well so am I of making it!.....this will be the 4th time this term.

hope everyone has a good day...at least I didnt have to scrape ice this morning but it was still very cold.

For haggis I bring a pot of water to boil turn it down to simmer for an hour or so depending on how big it is only simmer gently as could burst the skin then you get haggis soup :rotfl:
I then remove from the pot onto the grill pan cut the skin and grill this gives it a bit of crunch
Also has to be served with chappit neeps and taties and if you like some gravy it makes it less rich

LEJC just noticed you are old enough to be one of the original Elite as you are older than me by a few months. :p

You're far too kind to call me original elite...I dabbled around on MSE for a few years ...thinking I was doing well looking at the freebies threads....but it wasnt until about this time last year that I stumbled across the real elite on this thread...

So in those terms I still think of myself as reasonably new...

I can't believe for a whole month I ignored the original DTD price match thread when everyone was getting stuff for free. :o

I didn't have a clue what it was about so didn't even bother to look at first and then noticed it had been top of the pops for quite a long time.

I only got about a month's worth of free shopping in but better than nowt. ;)
