Good morning all...
Good morning Tiny...sorry to dissapoint but coco bought nothing home last night...in a way I'm quite sad I was loving the gifts!
I've booked myself on the T evening ...do you think I could class it as a "christmas party"....its the closest I'm going to get to one this year.
OH returned from scotland last night with a haggis...no cooking instructions...but think I will just bake it for tonight and see what happens...unless anyone wants to give be some advice...
It seems to be in a skin an I'm unsure if its plastic so again unsure if I should remove it before cooking.
Where are my scottish elite to advise when I need them?
I have to make chocolate truffles for 6th form for tomorrow...apparently they are tiring of cake...well so am I of making it!.....this will be the 4th time this term.
hope everyone has a good day...at least I didnt have to scrape ice this morning but it was still very cold.
Morning LEJC.
I think you can officially say you are going to a Christmas party, last year they had fizz and loads of hot/cold buffet food at mine. And good selection of sweet treats and finally cheese and biscuits.
Not sure if this year will be the same as last year you were invited for the evening. This year it has been split into 2 hour slots so might not be quite as good. Time will tell.
Still worried we are all going to turn up and nothing happening. :rotfl:0 -

Morning, my oh puts it in the steamer as is, along with potatoes. Not sure for how long though.:)0 -

Yes was thinking the same last night when booking this :rotfl:0 -
So I should be steaming this haggis thing rather than baking it?
Interesting...
Last time we had one I think I used it as a stuffing for chicken...but it was a bIt rich for me so I dont think I will do it like that...although I do have a nice bit of swede to go with it that I forgot to use in a stew the other day.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
