I like the toilet seat message, I want oneI have a laminated A4 sign above the toilet saying to put the lid down. It's not just about the germs that fly out when its flushed, it's also bad feng shui to leave the toilet lid up as all your money will go down the toilet, not literally but it means you'll have to keep spending so be skint

Credit for this find though goes totally to Evangeline who posted about it this morning, without her I would probably never have come across it.:T
Think the main difference between me and Evangeline is that I realise there are one or two numpties in the Elite (like Nerfy) so I like to put things in a way that even they will understand what they need to do to get nice apgs..:p
This numpty, reeling from RL, appreciates that hugely. Thank you!0 -
Hi tweets
Hope you don't mind if I pop on with a bit of information that'll help you take more control of your monthly payments.
If you've registered your account with our website, you'll be able to use a tool called the Direct Debit Manager. This lets you change the amount you pay each month. Comes in handy should circumstances change.
Provided the account is billed up to the latest meter readings you can change payments by up to 20 per cent up or down. By up to 5 per cent up or down without readings. Before putting the change through, we'll let you know by how much we anticipate the account will be in credit/debit if the payments are altered but usage doesn't change accordingly.
As you say, come your annual review in May, any credit balance over a fiver will automatically be sent back to your bank.
You're right to be cautious with winter kicking in so hope the above helps.

Bugs me too-leaving the lid up:eek: Little man manages to lift the lid and put it down when he's finished and he's only 3. :TMr monkey is well trained too but I can tell when my fil has been:eek:0 -
Since Yodel are reading I'll say thanks for leaving my parcel with my neighbour on Tuesday. Now why can they not do this every time? Its so frustrating when they attempt delivery whilst we're working then they try 2 more times on the next days at the same time, the time we're in work. However on Tuesday I was pleasantly surprised that the driver used his common sense
Royal Mail should also leave with neighbours instead of giving me the inconvenience of having to traipse to the post office for my parcel after I've paid their extortionate costs for them to deliver it to me :mad:0 -
On the subject of toilets.... Have you even used one of those portoloos in France?
It's years ago now but we were in Brittany I believe on holiday and it was literally a hole in the floor with two shoe shaped tread marks either side to show where you put your feet:rotfl:
