This reminds me of a rather bizzare court case I was reading about recently. Northern Rock Asset Management are basically suing themselves.......taking themselves to court to clarify if they are correct (and get legally binding confirmation) in not re-paying or writing off interest payments to customers with loans of £25,000 plus. Such loans dont normally come under the protection of the Consumer Credit Act. But it seems that even they themselves are so unsure if they're in the right or wrong in not paying out that they've taken this very unusual step.

See......bet you never knew I spent my days doing such exciting stuff :D :rotfl::rotfl:

Glad I posted that and got your response now, as that sounds like the kind of obscure situation that I really get into! Thanks for that - so, more several hours of reading and housework being left undone:rotfl::rotfl:! I jest a little - while I do have a bit of "executive functioning dysfunction" (once I'm into a task, I can't stop, but trouble is starting anything, other than, obviously, my 'special interests' (I've no trouble coming onto here all the time)), I'll just go and sort out the - dishwasher of all things:rotfl: and then get back!:)

The £25000 limit is no more.

The problem is/was that before it was removed they used paperwork for regulated agreements (<£25000) with statements that say it is regulated for non regulated products (>£25000) and very obviously different rules apply to regulated and non regulated products.

I understand the point you are making entirely.

Yes cooking involved. Idea is you choose receipe and buy ingredients and he cooks while to read out instructions or vice versa.

Yes the men in Kent are definitely missing out on me. Have been dipping my toes online but only to politely reply that I have RL going on but might start dating in the new year.

The man I am going to live with when he retires (Providing I don't run off to Florida to marry the other man I love) called in unexpectedly yesterday which was a lovely surprise. He was working in my area whereas he is normally London based. Hairdresser turned up and we chatted while I had a head full of bleach. Seeing him made me realise how reclusive I have been this year but part of that is down to problem with feet.

Years ago with second ex oh we used to take a roll up mattress down to beach on clear summers night and drink bubbly looking at the stars, sleep it off on this very deserted bit of beach, Naebbirac probably knows where I mean, then drive home in the morning.
    Extreme camping I suppose:eek:

Lots of love to give but got a hug in nice strong arms yesterday so will keep me going for a bit.

Watched c5 programme tonight about poverty through a child's eyes. These were children who were obviously loved but was very upsetting advert in middle.:(

Oh V!! you intriguing creature......a hug in strong arms. Sounds very romantic. I bet it was from your ever present handy friend who 'isn't interested'.....my butt! He sounds like a person who maybe doesn't have a lot of confidence in himself.
I hope it is him :o

I don't watch the soaps but you could be the Barbara Winsor of the Elite soap :D :rotfl:

Glad to hear you dad is out of hospital :A

I do wonder how many failed shops go unreported, or how many get cleaned up to remove mistakes :)

I put an order in for early collection [STRIKE]tomorrow[/STRIKE] today, shall report back epic failure or not.

I had to pay full price for champagne earlier  £16 for two bottles! (that victory went to T, the free cheese didn't quite make it a success for me)

    Good night all
