I also hope your hallucinations were good ones
Thanks I am getting there. My hallucinations involved masterchef/apprentice contestants in a haunted house where every room was a lie. I had to figure out the truth. I have no idea what that's about!'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

So, with the dishwasher tabs. apparently off, that left me with... a failed handwash shop:(:(:o:o. This is posted as a way NOT to money-save.
With all the faff around the SS not detecting the weight of items properly and asking for assistance, I somehow managed to scan the same Haribo twice:(. So - not enough items!:(:o
Of course I discovered only after I'd just left the store having taken the receipt with me. No matter how much I read [red] the receipt, I could not make it have eight different items. So, I've already chucked it in one of the bins on the car park. Oh well:(. It was paid for by the wombles...
...But the wombles are hard to come by at the moment and are not giving much at all. So I'll have to pay with real money next time:(.
It looks like I've just given the bonus I got on the Xmas GC straight back to Mr A:(. Again. (I remember I did more or less the same one year - this was before I joined the Elite. I had a GC bonus but more or less lost the same amount soon afterwards. This was before I was even doing glitches and was comparing against straight 10%s off:eek:. Some coffee was on half price in Morries and I bought four packets. Except that I picked up the wrong flavour and lost about £7:(.)
I've always had to make mistakes throughout my life, before I ever get things right. Fortunately I did not make any fatal mistakes on my driving to or from Mr A tonight. So, at least 'no-one died'. I'll cope.
"Fill your boots" it was said. I did just that - I did exactly what SFSB told me to do, but didn't get enough items:o:(.
I thought, with Sains. Basics Handwash having gone up and up (and apparently up) in price, that at least the E45s would work out cheaper and therefore, despite the fact we constantly have handwashes offered to us, I decided to go for it. I should have stayed at home! I failed - I've had an SA scan a Haribo twice before, but this time I did the same thing myself. So - I missed the dishwasher tablets, did an only partly successful Morries comparison which didn't give anything near as much back as the handwash shop, done correctly, would have done and did that failed handwash shop in which I paid full current T prices on everything in my shopping:(.:o Ah well, I suppose I can have an early night tonight (sort of) through not having to wait up on the receipt. Please - no more handwash glitches!0 -

I am going to have words with David.
Thought he had the night off? Obviously found something better to do.0 -
shirley999 wrote: »Did you root around to find that page; I know what you're like? Some of the things that say 2 for £2.50 are going in the basket at 2 for £2.00 and that looks to be an aged offer. The Dettol E45 is still going in my online basket at full price, although instore it is £2.50 or 2 for £2.50 (shopped just before 10pm). My C&C order is placed and I will review it in the morning.
No rooting around, they are just sat in my basket (with 2 mega pampers boxes :rotfl:) and noticed the offer appeared on there.
oooo interestingly not all the dettols have the offer banner on them
for me, signed into a.....
this shows 2f£2.50

fairclaire wrote: »This reminds me of a rather bizzare court case I was reading about recently. Northern Rock Asset Management are basically suing themselves.......taking themselves to court to clarify if they are correct (and get legally binding confirmation) in not re-paying or writing off interest payments to customers with loans of £25,000 plus. Such loans dont normally come under the protection of the Consumer Credit Act. But it seems that even they themselves are so unsure if they're in the right or wrong in not paying out that they've taken this very unusual step.
See......bet you never knew I spent my days doing such exciting stuff:rotfl::rotfl:
The £25000 limit is no more.
The problem is/was that before it was removed they used paperwork for regulated agreements (<£25000) with statements that say it is regulated for non regulated products (>£25000) and very obviously different rules apply to regulated and non regulated products.0 -
