Have a great break, you've well and truly earned it!!!!
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • Thanks gallygirl, still a lot of time in those few short weeks to earn as much as I can. I'm sat watching "worlds toughest jobs" which is folk around my age taking on really physical jobs for decent paydays, exactly what mine is like. I have a 70 hour+ week next week so making the most of these two days off, might have a few beers later watching the CL final aswel.

Annoyed about my tax code still being wrong(it was set up to take off £1800 extra over the year so I reckon I'm overpaying at least 150 a month!!)

  • Hey everyone, how are we all?

Good news and bad news. Cannot get through to HMRC at all, going to have to write to them instead, very annoying as last time i did i was ignored. Iv had a fantastic week at work, earnt a silly amount of money. Absolute shattered now but the good news is im off tomorrow so alarm is switched off!! Off due to forecast of rain all day...so a lie in then a walk to the shops for a couple of newspapers and something fine for my breakfast. What a bliss day ahead.

Away to jump into my bed now, earlier than i normally do!!

I had laser eye surgery in 2009. Best thing I ever did. All the best!
    Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
    Mortgage today = £161,690.76
    300 271 payments to go.
    House buyout fund £21,000/£40,000
  • Well payday yesterday, was about £3,300odd, more than i expected!!! Thats 2 weeks wages plus holiday pay with a tax overpayment taking off aswel. So current account is sitting at a very healthy £6,300 but slight misleading seeing as away to stick the laser eye surgery on credit card. Out of interest how much did you pay for yours, girlatplay?

Working out in the rain till 12 oclock today then 8-2 tomorrow to get the job finished off, soaked already!! Roll on 12, home sit infront of heater and chill for the rest of the day!! Have a good weekend everyone!!

I'm sorry YB I've only just seen your last post. For some reason it didn't come up in my subscription list. Unless it did and I just didn't see it. Hmmm...maybe the laser eye surgery wasn't so good! Haha, just kidding, it's great!

It was 6 years ago so going by memory, I paid roughly £1200 in total for both eyes. My eyesight was particularly bad though. I got a loan to pay for most of it but I paid it off within 4 months.

When are you having it done?
